I'm not sure your intended mission for this channel, but for me, it's nice to see someone with a similar body shape trying on clothes, it's helped me to figure out what shapes and styles will be flattering on me when I go shopping.
Same. I have the same body type and size. Meredith is more "formal" than I am though. I'd love to see some jeans, tanks, t-shirts, capris, etc.

I do need to find more casual clothes that still make me feel ‘put together’. I always tend toward formal and fancy if I have an option- interestingly enough, my daughter is the opposite! Comfort is her number one goal and she is able to do it adorably! I need to take notes!
Same for me! Although living in Europe and some 20 years older its nice to see what a certain shape of clothes does for our figure.
By the way you look fabulous in that Antropology floral mint dress! Found the last plain royal blue swimsuit the most flattering. Did not like the purple ruffle thing on you.

The first suit, the dark blue shorts, is the best on you. It gives your body definition. It is also made to actually swim in. The suits with skirt or ruffles float in the water, making it hard to maneuver.
I love “wear what makes you feel good”. I’ve been sewing vintage style dresses in fun patterns. Totally not the norm, but I feel so good wearing them out to run errands. Rock the fun!

One thing I wish swimsuit websites would do is have a picture of the model coming out of the pool. Some swimsuits are absolutely adorable dry but look ridiculous wet. I love the suits you picked out. Super cute!

The blue mesh suit was my favorite. Personally, I like two piece suits simply for ease of using the restroom. 😊 Being a similar apple shape, I prefer swim shorts and tops with a blouson effect.

SHEIN has some great suits as well. I just purchased a black suit with puffed sleeves and a black ruffled swim skirt. They’re fun and reasonably priced.

oh my gosh….the “see through swimsuit” $35.80, that you don’t like is my favorite! It us just an elegant little black w floral mesh summer dress. LOVE IT! It is so flattering and does not hug in any of the wrong places.
My second favorite is the tiered graduating purple layered swimsuit. At 5 ft. tall, it may be fine for me, but it would be perfection with a fourth tier for you.

You get 10/10 for bravery doing this blog. I haven't worn swimwear since I gained weight. Was always afraid those types of swimwear would scream old lady. I liked the last one best. At least with your own pool you can swim away from the crowds. Wendy
Thank you, Wendy! It is a difficult thing to be comfortable wearing! I had lots of people ask me to do swimsuits last year and I thought ‘no way!’ But this year I thought that trying to find suits in my comfort zone may help other people with the same feelings! We occasionally go to our neighborhood pool and I see ladies of all sizes in swim dresses and ladies of all sizes in bikinis- wearing what you are comfortable in is what is important!

I saw at Walmart really cute swim wear dusters for over a swimsuit or even over a tee shirt and jeans. They were crocheted lace dusters very Stevie Nicks vibes. 🎉

I actually liked the first and the last suits best. I also liked the cover up. As a former Houstonian (70 years), I was disappointed to see Beryl hit that area and i hope that you and your family made it through the storm without too much damage. We have been staying with my parents, they have a generator and live right around the corner, but the generator is no longer working.
We are just very blessed that we didn’t sustain any major damage and that the storm went quickly with very little flooding!

It was nice for me to see the first one you tried on other than a model. I really like how it looks on you, and would now be much more tempted to buy one. It is actually the only one that appeals to me personally. Even though I’m in AZ, I never make it to the pool though. And you’re right, shipping takes a relatively long time with Bloomchic.

Impeccable timing - I fell asleep last night before I could decide which Bloomchic swimsuits to order, and now I’ve had a chance to see them on you! I liked the cherry suit on you the best, but the blue sheer one suits you too. Hope you get your power back on soon. A couple of years ago after a storm I lost power for 8 days, and am now the proud owner of a portable solar panel and some CPAP battery packs 😅🇨🇦

Thanks for another great video! My favorites were the coverup (so breezy!) and the last swimsuit (black floral). It wasn’t the most shape-enhancing, but it seemed to lengthen the body in a flattering way.

I know you’re not a fan of your upper thigh area but I just want you to know I have the same little flap of skin so I know exactly how you feel and I’m so glad to see someone who looks like me. We’re roughly the same size I’m just a few inches shorter. I love being able to see how these would fit on me without having to buy them and try them on

So I tend to wear Unitard suits that they sell for aquafit. Swimsuits for All. Nice long boy-legs that stay down.
Or swim shorts over a one piece suit. You are a contagiously cheerful person and I enjoy your videos!
You are a brave woman. I ended up with a suit that’s drapey on top with bike short bottoms and I love it. Have some suits that are rompers and I like them but too much fabric. I liked the first blue one on you. I liked the black floral on you too.
Posting a video when you've just made it through a hurricane is amazing dedication!! Even though I know you didn't time this video for the hurricane, the fact that your post-hurricane video turned out to be about swimsuits has its own special humor. 😂 I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and managing the heat.

I’ve tried several of bloomchic dresses, shirts, and pants. I absolutely love them! I am thinking of trying a swim suit from them so thank you for your honest reviews. I also am 2 different sizes from on top to my waist.
I use bicycle shorts with swimwear, they are usually a bit longer for my comfort

Thanks for putting it out there for us more modest gals. Great choices to try. I really liked the first one. While not as figure-flattering, it looked really comfortable and would be absolutely perfect for a waterpark or chasing after kids.

The only difference was the top part had thin stripes! I hated wearing that thing! My days are a little sad right now, so it’s nice to start with a smile! ❤❤❤
Oh jeesh !! Thought we were the only ones wearing those ugly suits for gym class! Green for Southside, blue for Northside of town then blue for a rural based town west of us in city ! They crawled up your backside too , all before dryer sheets plus oh did they pull!! Graduated 45 yrs ago this past June !!

I have had a couple of other people say that the romper reminded them of gym uniforms!! Ours were just red 2-piece sweats, but I hated them, also!!
@@murlepeterson6028ours was the one piece romper, solid red bottom and red and white horizontal stripes on top. We just celebrated our 50th reunion and they just get better as the years go by. Thanks for the 2nd swimsuit haul. It can be so difficult to find suits that fit well and that I feel pretty in.
I am either a triangle or mini fridge in shape - 50 bust, 51 waist & 53 hips. I'm also a 5'4" hobbit. I don't like how my upper thighs look either.
I favor the tankinis with babydoll or flowy tops and bike short or shorts with mesh skirt bottoms.
Wet one pieces are too much work in the bathroom. 😂

The second suit, the patchwork asymmetric in indigo, my first thought was "That's kinda nice." My second thought was "Not great, not amazing, but nice." You're absolutely right that it's a good option, just overshadowed by the other ones in this haul! Similar thoughts on the last one, funny to know our bottom two match!
I'm not sure exactly which part of your inner thighs you're insecure about, but I'm so glad you enjoyed the royal blue, because I was really unsure how the sheer skirt would look before the try-on and worried you might hate it, but was very pleasantly surprised! I'm not sure if it had a smoothing effect, or just felt more intentional since it wasn't so hidden, or maybe just the confidence you wore it with, or some combination, but you totally slayed in that one, to the point it was my favorite on you! My personal favorite was the first one, but I'm definitely in the "don't really want to swim, but want the option" club, so looking more beach-side than beach is more my go-to. I felt between that and the royal blue, you've found some real winners, and the purple and cherry were fun too! While the other two (second and last) didn't work out as well for you, they were still lovely options I'm glad you showed us, perhaps they'll work out better for some of us viewers ^^
The blue/shorts would be great on a cruise as you could walk hallways with ease.
I liked the final swimsuit the best. I thought it was very figure flattering yet practical. Your pool looks so inviting. I always choose skirted swimsuits and I get them from vinted.

I order often from Bloomchic. I would say tops run large and bottoms seem true to size. They ship from overseas and that accounts for longer shipping time. Prices are great and quality is fine. Do follow care instructions.

My favorite is the sheer blue mesh. It is too bad that the sharkbite suit wasn't 2 inches longer. Then, it would have been perfect. The first romper suit reminded me of the blue gymsuits we wore in Jr High. Maybe in a different color, I might have liked it. Everything else was just ok. It is too bad that the last suit flattened your bust so much. It would have been cute.
I think that last one has such potential- if it just had some kind of lift to it, it would have been a winner, I agree!
The blue mesh is the only one I have worn swimming and it was great in the water!

Watching another TH-cam channel she talked about how color blocking with horizontal blocks aren’t flattering… for most people. That may be the issue with swimsuit with the handkerchief bottom. No flow. 🤷🏼♀️

Her bottom two were my bottom two, but only because the others were so good! I liked all of them on her, I just liked those two the least of a good bunch!
I like the last 2 with the mesh cuz as if you're covered even getting out of water. BUT I do see & understand the last suit gives no shape for you. The last 2 suits also if traveling, going in & out of the pool & area around all ages & strangers. NO we should not have to nor feel like yet happens

I have ordered from bloomchic swimsuits a few times. I ordered “Contrast Twist Front Skinny One Piece Swimsuit” in several colors. I’m pleased with the fit 2x, but find that the colors fade quick.
Oh, I don’t like to hear that! This is my first experience with them- I’m going to pay attention to the vibrancy and see if I have the same experience. We normally hang suits out to dry in the sun after swimming and my torrid suits hold their vibrancy years later!
As someone who is chesty and hates wearing a bra swimsuit I know see the advantages. I think you would have liked some of the swimsuits better if you had a built in bra to lift the girls and help show off your waist. JMO And I have to say I am so jealous of your backyard pool. ❤ from Canada.

that first cover up looks like a tablecloth, the first suiti is OK, I would love to find something in two pieces so you don't have to stip a wet suit to use the bathroom. the second suit is really pretty for smaller bodies. I really think the last one is best if it had proper bust support. You're a brave woman to do all these online. Would love to see separates next time.

Hi Meredith! I hope you and your family are ok in the storm. I thought you looked beautiful in the black mesh swim dress. It was sexy but lady like at the same time. You were speaking very fast so it was hard sometimes to understand but I enjoy your presentations.
We are doing alright- just hot and cranky! I had this one scheduled before the storm hit. We are all so thankful that the storm moved through quickly and that our area didn’t sustain any flooding.
I apologize for my fast talking, I naturally speak very quickly. I wonder if hitting the setting button and listening at at .75 speed would help at all? I will try to be more cognizant when recording in the future, as well! Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
