I've gotten the question a lot from you guys about how to maintain the Eventuri intake. It does require a bit more maintenance than other intakes because of that clear cover that gets dirty. What do you guys think of the process? 🤔
Question: As we all know, the rear trunk area gets quite warm/hot due to radiated engine/exhaust systems. Does the non-insulated/clear bubble cover contribute to even greater heat transfer as that bubble has removed a substantial portion of the trunk tub? Nobody has mentioned that issue with the Eventuri insulations. Thanks
That’s a lot of work for maintenance of the filter. I’ll probably only do that once every 15k miles. On most my cars, I just vacuum the reusable filter from time to time but that’s because they are easily accessible. I’ll probably just stick the vacuum hose up the quarter panel scoop opening to suck out any leaves and big debris so I don’t have to take apart the entire system.
It is a lot of work, but I definitely recommend the proper cleaning, it makes a huge difference. Also, the instructions for the Eventuri recommend checking it every 5k miles if you live in dusty environments.
Dude , it’s getting harder and harder to resist going eventuri . Stop it! Lol. Thanks for being forward thinking ! I think people may forget to do this! Very helpful
Justin noticed for doing this video you removed your spoiler so as not to have to work over it and potentially damage it. I realize yours is aftermarket by rsc i think but for the gm oem spoiler can it easily be removed for working on car or do you have to remove entire bumper with it every time?
Seems like it would be nice if they offered the cleaner by itself. It's not optimal paying for a bottle of oil you don't need, and misleading since they are dry filters.

Not at all. At least not that I've noticed.

Glad to be of service! You won't regret it if you do!
Thanks, guys!!
I definitely prefer the dry filters over the oil.
I agree.

The spoiler I have is a direct replica of the Z07 wing so attachment points are identical. 4 bolts to take it off. Super easy.
nice video
Thank you!

Yeah, I agree, they should sell it separately. Apparently other kids they offer might have oiled filters.
