@@chingizkhan41 They actually officially have Alcoholics Anonymous now! I also think SLAA (sex and love addicts anonymous) is active there. Iranians are unstoppable!
This is a very interesting talk. But I have to say, the intro is far too long. The discussion actually starts at 5:40. I almost abandoned the video in frustration
If my boyfriend who has an avoidant attachment doesn't reach out via text, though he has time to just say hello during the day, would it be wise to reach out to him? I go back and forth because I take his silence as he just needs space. However, I hear Sue saying that reaching out is good. I have reached out a few times this week and it went well. However, I do not want to set up a pattern where it is just me reaching out. I did ask him what would be comfortable to him.. like does he want to touch base most days. He certainly doesn't want to be talking on the phone. So this would just be via text. I am the more anxious one, but have been doing well by knowing this stuff and recognizing his silence is not about me. That alone calms my nervous system. I do not want to give him the impression that I am too busy for him.. I just do not want to seem like I am chasing after him.
@@Supsup7777 I'm so happy to hear that! Yes. Prioritize yourself and your mental health. Work on your self-worth and you won't feel attracted to emotionally unavailable (or immature) men. Congratulations :).
Listening to this is is unbearable due to the frequency of the ads interrupting it every 2-4 minutes. Horrible. Too bad b/c it’s a great topic. Shane on you.
❤ Sue Johnson RIP. Great work for all of us teaching us how we can succeed in vulnerablility😮
She's so sweet and gracious and her laughter is captivating

Are you absolutely certain he's not cheating on you?
@@aktchungrabanio6467 I let him go. He has addiction issues and just wasn’t choosing me as a priority.

I had accidentally changed a setting that automatically created way too many ad breaks - sorry about that - all videos will be fixed pronto!

No no no. Don't pursue releationships; work on YOUR relationship with yourself.
