Battery and RC should be in cabin bag, batteries are not allowed in checked in luggage. That goes for all kinds of battery so keep that in cabin luggage along with rc
@TechvirusIndia Duty Free item is duty-free in the country you purchased it. That doesn't mean it is duty free in India. 50,000 Rs is the duty free limit in India and some items likes TV not allowed in that.
Just wanted to know where did you kept the drone and where did you kept the rc and batteries. because you won't be able to put drone in check in luggage

Pay import duties and get the drone, but normally duty free shop items should not attract any import duties. Its bit gray area for me as well.
