I bought drone from thailand .. and when i came to india the custom catch me.. my drone was 249gram.. custom said no drone allowed in india .. koi bhi size ya weight ho.. mujhe paise khilake drone nikalna pada.. aur 2 gaante waste ho gaye. maine bhi drone ke sab part different bag mein rakhe the but wo log ne pakad liye .. so be careful ..

You need to register with Thailand, without permission and in certain zones, like airport, military zone, school, National park etc you can not fly. You can take your drone to Thailand

DJI is officially banned in india to sale it's product, but you can buy DJI from abroad.If your drone falls in neno category then no need to worry, you can carry it in hand baggage (cabin baggage) also provided battery is removed. You can carry one more extra battery.so one person can bring only 2 battery in cabin baggage provide it is less then 160 mh watts. Or if bigger then you need to ship it via cargo. Any other drone which are micro, or above must have registered and have to have permit for same.

Suna ki IZI are really shitty drones, nothing compared to DJI mini series at all but almost similar pricing. I wanted to support India made drones, but did not go ahead because of all the negative reviews of IZI. by the way, i have a DJI mini 2 that i purchased a while ago.
I got it @79k(after gst refund- 1281 s$). Dji in jewel. They also gave 128gb memory card😁. Customs didn’t check the luggage hopefully in kolkata airport

No problem in domestic flights at all. Legally allowed and acknowledged. Drone inside checkin. COntroller and batteries in hand luggage.
