Celil Refik Kaya - Fritz Mueller

Celil (pronounced Ja-leel) graced our shop with five incredible performances on five separate classical guitars in early March of 2016. A wonderfully gentle man, supremely talented, very sure of his ability, he played effortlessly. It was an absolute pleasure to have him here with us at Savage Classical Guitar.
About Celil Refik Kaya : Celil began his interest in classical guitar at the age of six with the guidance of his father, Dr. Mehmet Refik Kaya ... Celil Refik Kaya is an artist of exemplary talent having performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls and the festivals. He received a full scholarship from Mannes College the New School for Music (Master of Music) in New York City and the University of Texas (Doctoral of Musical Arts)
About the Guitar: 2015 Fritz Mueller Classical Guitar #299 Cedar Wenge - the guitar itself is wildly resonant and wholly musical. Workmanship stellar. Machines by Graf are an excellent choice, very unique and personally chosen by Fritz for this particular guitar!
The room was filled with the sound of the guitar and her play is totally accessible, almost effortless. Fritz is a true master, building power, with music, grace and elegance.
Celil performs "El Sueno de la Razón Produce Monstruos" by M. C. Tedesco.
