    Now defunct and out of business, I was making rock candy sticks at Richardson's in Canajoharie, New York -- this reminded me so much of that job. I would love to work at Startups just for a day to relive the memories. There was something so exciting about working in a huge commercial kitchen.

    At Wikisource, there is a 1920 book for children called The Story of a Candy Rabbit, which is by Laura Lee Hope of the Stratemeyer Syndicate.
    Maybe the book was talking about a clear candy toy in the shape of a rabbit?
