I just brought home my baby pineapple conure a month ago. He loves water too. He jumped right into the cat waterer (small fountain) that I had purchased for my smaller birds. Although he's a bit big for it, he loves it and sometimes takes two baths a day. The cutest thing is that he talks to himself in his sleep tent before he falls asleep. I get to hear all these cute little squeaks and growls until he finally drifts off. He is the happiest little bird I've ever had.
i bought a pinnacle conure a couple weeks ago. i love him/her so much. she is so cuddly and affectionate. best bird i’ve ever owned. she does get a little aggressive and protective if somebody else approaches me while she’s on my shoulder or if she’s sleeping.
sorry for the late reply but Fruit does that too, aggressive towards other people hahah. we're happy to hear it's the best bird you've ever had though!! we love that for you
my girl attached pretty immediately when I brought her home(she was 2 months old) but it took a while for her to get a hang of step up. She knew what I wanted but didn't always want to do it herself. I chose not to force it and now she steps up great :D most of the time ;)
I love how happy he is but I wouldn’t recommend forcing him to step up, also that pose he did wasn’t because he was relaxing it’s because he’s trying to breath
Aww...I have pineapple conure, over three months old and had her about a month and a half, she is hand tame but still very nippy...never biting hard. It seems that yours doesn't nip at all!
@@crazybirbfamily7197 I love your little conure I have a pineapple one as well. She can be the sweetest and then she is mean mean mean. She is very attached to me, but she non stop bites me. I did everything in the book to get her to stop, but she will not. We hang out all the time. No matter what she will go grab her little toy and then run with it straight onto my lap. I love her to death, I just wish I could get her to stop biting me. Not little nips she chomps down closes her eyes and tries to take a chunk out of me. If anyone can give me advice I would so appreciate it... Ive had her since she was about 7 months old so shes been with me for about 5 months now.. Help!!
@@spoiled1950 hmm, that is odd. we have a lot of cockatiels as well and one of them is quite mean to the other birds so whenever she attacks another bird we immediately put her back in her cage and then we let her back out after 10-15 minutes. we kept doing that daily, every single time she attacked another bird and now she no longer does it! we also trained our conure to poop only on a paper towel when he's out of the cage, we would reward him for doing so and if he didn't, we'd put him back in the cage (only for like 10 minutes and then back out) and after a bit of doing that, he only poops on the paper towel (: so what i would suggest is putting her away whenever she bites, as soon as she does it and then letting her back out after a few minutes and continue doing that for a bit to see if it helps at all? if you don't want to put her in her cage you could also just set her down after she bites you and walk away, maybe even yell (not too loudly) but yell "ouch" or something and then set her down and walk away, just letting her know that what she did isn't okay because birds react the same way when they get hurt, they scream. i really hope we could help
@@crazybirbfamily7197 Thank you so much for the advice. I have done that, I'll keep trying. She is a very active little bird. She is trained in doing all sorts of things so she's not bored. I am working with her. She is very smart. She can even talk a little. Thank you for answering me
What a fun day! Thanks for posting this, I’m getting myself ready to adopt a green cheek, but if I’m honest I’m still very heartbroken from losing my best bud, a lovebird I had over half my life. Still, I know once I take the plunge, I’m so much better prepared to give a conure a very happy life!
i'm so sorry, our condolences for your lovebird❤️ losing a pet is never easy :( but when you are ready, you'll be very happy with your green cheek! and we're very excited for you to start that journey ❤️ we recently got a baby Quaker parrot, we're editing a new video now about her!
@@crazybirbfamily7197 Aww thanks for reaching out, it looks like i was really missing him there. I’ll check back for the quaker video! Was actually thinking about breeding them! Glad your able to give so many parrots a loving home 🏠 😉
Hello! I loved your video! Ive only have lovies so im quite new to conures. I just brought home my new 6 month old Black Capped Conure. She hasnt eaten much in the first 24 hours and its made me anxious. I understand that she is probably just stressed about her new environment, but i was wondering if there were any suggestions on what i could do for a bird her age?
Loved the cute birbyyy....just one small request....do not put your bird directly under the shower. The water might get in their lungs and they may drown.....the pose that he was doing was because he was trying to breathe....the best way to give a bath is to give a water dish or just mist with a spray bottle.
I just got a pineapple conure 3 days ago, he’s only 1 month old and I feel kinda lost of how am I going to take care of the food and stuff. He is naughty and stresses me out a bit😭😭
I got a pineapple conure about 2yrs ago her name is moo moo I remember the fist day my bro brought moo moo home she had no feathers she looked like a baby dinosaur she’s now 2 years old and she’s so cute
Wings clipped, not even the flight feather. That’s dangerous and the way u shower him is dangerous, he can’t breathe and the bed that he’s in is dangerous. Ur a bad owner clearly

I loved the video! I have a question, how often should you bathe the conure?
They like to bathe in their water bowls daily. Or offer a bath every other day. It’s good for the feathers to keep them water proof, and healthy
aww, this is so cute. loved the vid!
thank you so much!!
how old does a baby conure need to be to stop eating the formula?
3/4 months they should be fully weaned :)

I think that the person recording didn’t clip the wings, probably the breeder, as the other bird is not clipped

thank you :)

Are some mutations more expensive than others
Yes, I think Sun conures are one of the most expensive, and standard green cheek conures are less expensive.
Showering ur pet bird like that in the shower is very dangerous my pet budgie died because my dad showered it like that
yeah, that bird was struggling to breathe under the shower, people might watch this video and then do the same, she is a very stupid woman.
Ohhhh yeah . Your pineapple hates you.
My 2 month old was more affectionate and kept biting me...on the neck and ear lobs.
