I grew up in San Diego, I would say 35-40%. We do have a lot of military folks, east county is also full of conservatives (this is where most of the San Diego natives live). Its all the transplants and large business owners that bring the leftist mentality to SD. Every company in SD I've ever worked for has been liberal.
Boys, how conservative are the people is San Diego overall? San Diego always stuck out in my mind as an amazing place to be.
I've been here 6 yrs. On a scale from 1-10, I'd rate it a 3 overall.
