I want a more survival br format. long matches where you start on the coast with not even a knife with hardcore settings like rain/darkness/snow/cold. Having to fight the elements along with other players... and zeds of course.

@@user-gq6sf4si6j If you remove the zombies you have PUBG, which is a free game. The only way this will work is if you keep the zombs... otherwise there's no point. They'd just be copying what's already free on the market.

The creator of pubg player unknown originally created the dayz battle royale mod and what he wanted to make was a realistic game but the company he worked with were not experienced in making that level of realism so they made pubg which is an arcade based game and no comparison to dayz that is wrong.
Just a heads up if you want to play yourself. It can be a bit tricky to join the servers. Player count will go down to 1 and when the server you want to join goes offline, wait 10 seconds and then join through your launcher. Can't join through the main menu. You can start joining as soon as it goes offline. That's when the BR bot in their Discord says it starts. If you wait 10 seconds you may not be able to join

Yep! I love DayZ but I don't play too much of it because it takes too much time.
I tried a few games on Vigrid and it was super fun! For some reasons, our kills with DayZ are much more satisfying than other games like PubG.
I didn't feel too much lag despite the 150 ping but it's clearly a disadvantage for US players, I traded a few times and God knows if I had won these fights if it was on a US server.

I had zero issues and ping was 153,I was iffy as well,but don't let it fool you really not like other 150 ping lobbies
I feel this added game mode mod will help players learn and navigate new areas some may not get to often. Also probably ease slight gear fear since it’s similar to looting for survival items. Definitely will try it out.
I’m loving these servers! Been playing all week. It’s awesome to stay in the DayZ world but get straight into PVP. A bunch of chickens spawn when you win now. 🎉😂
Well, tbh any BR game(mode) that came out in 2019 had a very big adversairy. This looks cool tho, hope it will make it to console one day.
I played on a DayZ BR testing beta back in 2021. I wonder if its the same guys that pulled this off? Would be really cool if they got it far enough that the community is picking it up!

setting tripwires with nades will be prefect but the tripwire nade seems to be bugged and you cant put nades on them after this dodgy update
I think the idea is amazing. I would have another type of Battle Royale where food and thirst join the game too. Of course games would last longer.
I was going to leave a comment about how this would be a battle royale without zombies... good think I actually watched the video to make sure. I didn't think they'd actually have the zombies in the BR mode, that's kinda nice and refreshing for once. The biggest issue DayZ always had for me was that it's a walking simulator, the fact that it kept the zombies in the BR is a big changer because it's going to force the player in uncomfortable spots to make stupid mistakes that's probably going to cost them.

yes this is huge but personally i do not care whatsoever about any BR games but to those who care this is a major deal. I will stay in the "normal" dayz experience on community and modded servers.

i agree dayz is perfect for a BR game, it will give me an objective as i always play solo and never really know what to do except try and survive and thrive for a few weeks, i like pubg but not played for years

Yeah it sounded from behind me. The recording sounded more in front and you saw the bullet impacts through the bush.
I'm pretty sure the compression of YT makes it way more clear that it's in front of him, as opposed to having really good surround sound headphones that can, at times, make things worse.
