Yeah, it’s not abundantly clear. Either he was negligent in creating this video and didn’t realize the title’s hypothesis wasn’t proving or, he was being nefarious with the title and wanted clicks.
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say it was poor execution on the video. Most of his are relatively good. This one, not so much. I only know what the 5 year problem is because several others in the comments didn’t get it either.

I was hoping it was the hybrid scopes. When going from scoped with a sniper then switching to M4 that you had set on the red dot to find its scoped in on 6x with an enemy right next to you
Simple solution: Don't use the red dot acog. Yeah, it has more Zoom than the 4x iron sight one, but the acog is pretty crap n really cuts down on your fov. The 4x, on the other hand, is super clean, and it's just enough Zoom to take long-range fights and up close fights if you don't have the time to swap back to the smaller sight.
@@Manguatz1703 yeah I haven't used them for years because of that, but would be better if Bohemia just fixes it. If I set my gun on red dot it shouldn't change its set up because of scoping with another weapon, makes it unusable I'd rather just have iron sights on close quarters weapon 👍

@@mattmattman1984 If you ads on the scope setting you want to keep then press F to swing your weapon, it will stick.

What is the 5 year old problem that was fixed?
In 2018 the NWAF got updated, however it turned out to be too big and overcrowded with structures, buildings etc. This update fixes that by revamping the NWAF a second time.
Did you ever find out what was fixed?
@@skate4twentehe just said it was revamped lol which means they changed the layout. It's more open and less campy. I was only there once during the experimental so I didn't really get into much PVP not sure if it feels better or not. I did notice one or two spots that looked way better.

The old airfield was supreme, why did it take 5 years to correct the mistake and change it back to how it was?

I noticed an extreme smoother experience on console while at NWAF on a really full server. Love the update
I'm on PS5, and it isn't smoother for me. I have a lot of lag. I feel like I'm going to die because of it. Trying to open a door, it takes 5 seconds for it to open. Same for trying to pick up items, etc.

I'm quite astounded that there ain't much complains or criticism of the worst bug in this game, clipping. In a game like this where hiding/sneaking is so vital, there are no safe places. That you can easily see enemy/structures through walls. Why won't they fix this horrifying bug?
its not a bug it has to do with the hit boxes when on your persons

Its so stupid how you can hold ctrl and the gun jsut freezes in one place… in the old dayz you couldnt do that you had to have a good shot to make those long range shots now everyone can do it there is no skill required to do it. Even the guns have no recoil

bought the game 12/14/2023 - all works fine till you enter any enclosure , then all controls are reversed , i am headless , and cant walk straight . ( go figure )

Sometimes your character is bugged for other players. Looking all the way up and down helps fix it.
ugh the cut aways in this are annoying. gotta see this full unedited. (just my own personal censuses) crazy fights, love to learn how you position around enemies and get distances. You check very odd places. Holding your ground in weird spots. Yes, Airfield has been awful for a LONG time.
