    I never knew this existed! This will be so useful. I can see how something like the "wiggle" can be much easier with expressions than keyframes lol

      Haha yea, it really does help quite a bit for certain scenarios!

    I'm running into problems with comps within comps not "behaving" properly (or in time)? I have "button" comps (1 frame comps that I "stretch" over time)
    if I time remap a comp with an expression in it, does that affect the application of the Expression working "at that time"? and, do I need to have "key frames" on or off on the comp I want to be affected?

      There could be many reasons for that! Unfortunately that’s hard to figure out and you’ll need to just do a bunch of troubleshooting tests to narrow down the issue!

    Hmmmm really want to try use after effects cause it looks really cool but to make even what I thought would be simple animations it takes so much work 😅 this video confirms the extra technical skills need hahaha. Great upload very informative

      It can be intimidating at first, and there's a bit of a learning curve, but after some tries it starts to feel comfortable :)

    This is a great tutorial guys 👍
    We haven't explored After Effects yet, but it's something we want to do in the future.
    When we see the programming language in the beginning of the video, yes! This is so us haha
    We are web devs as our day job, so we're excited to see the programming language being used by video creators too 🤓

    Should we the beginner remember the expression? Or better just save it in the folder & open again when we need it?

    • @AlliandWill
      @AlliandWill  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question! I personally keep a note on my computer for expressions I use, and would recommend others to do the same! Much easier to copy and paste as needed :)

    I will be honest and say this is a bit hard for me haha. It's basically like coding... But man the results you can get from this is quite amazing. I was very blown away by the effects you added to the tornado. Awesome tutorial!

    The only problem i had is everytime when i parenting the expression to the slider it will be an error and the expression not gonna work how can i fix this?..

    • @AlliandWill
      @AlliandWill  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it gives you an error, that means the code is broken. Try pickwhipping other stuff stuff to get a feel for what works. Also good to open other people’s template projects and figure out what they did in their project; that’s a very good way to learn fast!
