I loved the book journal. When was it the last card or letter i sent to grandma? When was the last time I visited with my college friends? I call this my communication tracker. It tracks phone calls, snail mail, and visits. Each person gets a column and the type communication is color coded. I fill in a square in their column with every communication, on the opposite page i date the communication and write one or two lines about the communication so i can remember what we talked about. This makes it easy to create memories but also where to pick up when i talk with them next time. I write these in the same color as the type of communication. Makes it easy to follow. I’m a big letter writer.

Meh. Most of those trackers are more artsy fartsy than actually practical. Who has only 10 songs they like? Or the sleep and energy trackers - to actually learn something useful about yourself, those two should be combined. Then you could learn your optimal number of hours of sleep. (Sleeping for too long is detrimental to your energy, too). Or your optimal time of going to bed/getting up if you include those times, too. The energy tracker as it is is totally useless; because the bubbles are all over the place and you can't even see at a glance how your energy changed over the course of the month (which might be interesting to correlate not only to your sleeping but also to your training schedule, your workload, or maybe to your monthly cycle if you're female). And the colors chosen were way too similar. Try comparing some bubble on the top left with one on the bottom right (which might be on days following each other) - could you be sure whether those are the same color if they are only one level apart? Nothing against having some artsy pages in your bullet journal if it makes you happy - but not to the point where the art makes the trackers worthless. And in general, artsy lends itself much more to pages like a monthly recap or a page remembering a special day - where the purpose is to remember / convey a feeling - than to stuff that should be practical like a tracker or eg. a calendex.
