i think 'no smudging' (also) refers to whether the pen will smudge when you go over it with another marker (highlighter/tombow/copic etc)!
R0B1N most pens smudge under comics because they are alcohol based
True! also through some recent experience I found that water based markers (like tombows etc) tend to smudge water based inks (like some fointain pen inks)

Lucila Andreani Steadtler are better IMO.
The new Inkjoy Gel Pens (from Papemate just in case) are really good and dries in less time, I tested it!

The Paper mate Inkjoy pens are great! I just discovered them and they are so smooth and easy to write with.
Staedtler is actually a pretty cool brand that sells several products. They sell fine liners like the one in the video, but there is a LARGE variety o colors in different packs. There are some Neon, Pastels, and I believe a Nature or Earth pack that comes with brown and greens. They also sell packs as big as 50 and even more that come with all these colors combined and other colors. I own the 36 pack and the colors are very pretty. They sell rollerball pens, erasers, colored pencils, and I think some larger fine liners. I just love the brand so much 😍😅

Paola Aguilar i use steadler's fine liner in my bujo but it disappointed me they are NOT waterproof rs 10 ball pen was better than rs 70 steadler fine liner was really disappointed
Oh, I see, but even then many pens are not waterproof so it's not a very big surprise. If you wan to use it with watercolor you can use the pens after the watercolor is dry and use the pens on top? I do this and they have never disappointed me again! :)
Paola Aguilar i used them in my bujo but a few drops of rain smugged them and they ended up making a dark grey area
I didn't even know that pen fades... I thought they are permanent, at least the mistakes I wrote on my exams... xD.
some pen ink fades (slowly) if it's left in the sun for too long.

I use the Pilot g-2 in school and I’m in 8th so we do a lot of writing and I love it!!! I have had the 8 pack for three years and I’m still using it.

I use Dong-a (the metal and the pastel ones) they are cheap in like 10 pcs you can get it for 4 dollars! Hope this can help ☺

5 seconds is less time than us lefties normally have before there is contact with the ink
For other lefties, one thing Ill suggest is not using india ink pens or sharpie pens without being very careful and letting them dry.

Being a lefty is the worst for journaling
From my leftie experience you can train yourself to lift your hand when writing with sharpie or chalk automaticly

My favorite pen to use is the Pilot G-Tech C3. I use it for everything.
I find that the Uni Pin Fine Liners are so much better than the Sakura ones. I've had so much trouble using them like smudging and leeking. And they're just around the same price.
Micron pens are my favorite, I never had a problem in my notebooks with smudging. Paper has a huge impact on how a pen preforms. Also, I learned that using color before outlining or tracing your lines aids in minimizing/eliminating smudging and feathering.

I only use 3 pens in my BuJo, 2 Stabilo 0.3 fineliners (cerulean and grey) and a black Derwent Graphik line maker

Unijetstream alpha gel grip. It's smooth, doesn't smudge and has a super soft grip that makes it comfortable to write with.

for beginners i would recomend buying the fudenosuke pens, istead of the pigma brush. fudenosuke is easier to control, because the pigmas have really flexible tips and the fudenosuke are nit as flexible

These supplies are not only pens but there are for artists, who are willing to invest a good amount of money for their own personal use and bullet journaling. I have invested a good amount of money on Tombow Brush Pens, Micron Signo, Gelly Roll, and Mildliners. You don't have to or need to get these pens they're all by choice.

I need markers for coloring in my sketchbook, i like outlining or adding a shape behind or something else to make it more interesting. I definately want brush tip, and they need to be able to go on top of pencil and not smudge, and not bleed through sketchbook paper. Anyone have any reccommendations for this? I think the pigma brush pens are too opaque for this. So far the only thing that works for me is the crayola dual tip brush pens.

It's a little strange, because a lot of people on TH-cam like the Faber-Castell brush pens, but the nib on mine frayed...? Did this happen to anyone else?
Hey, this is very late, but with the Faber-Castell brush pens, you can pull the nib of the pen out and then flip it so that there is a new brush. Basically, the tips are reversible and you can get twice the usage out of them. Hope this helped!
