  • History: I was implanted with the Inspire device for my obstructive sleep apnea in October of 2022. The device was activated in December of 2023 after a year of dealing with complications from the surgery and personal events. I have been successfully activated for 6 months now and this video is addressing my recent sleep study and current review of the Inspire process.
Other videos: I have made 4 other videos chronically my Inspire Surgery journey that can be searched on TH-cam at "Inspire Surgery Review Part (1-4).

Thank you very much for your videos! My Inspire implant will be activated this coming Wednesday and I can't wait! I have struggled with sleep apnea for many years, and it has been a d-r-a-g. Good luck to all of us!

What was your original sleep numbers on your sleep study before the Inspire?

@@thegrinder46 I don’t remember the number. I was in the moderate sleep apnea group though and now I’m at 2-3 with the device which is in the normal range.

It took a bit for me to get to my side. I think I talk about it in one of my other videos. I honestly can’t remember how long it took. Hang in there. It feels like a long time and then it isn’t.

@@livinlavidaketo3142 I'm in so much pain like it's almost 3am and I'm hurting so bad in my ear and jaw and teeth.. my chest has been good until today and now. I'm wandering how long did it take you to stop pain. I have RA and lupus and fibromyalgia which the surgery has caused flare-ups bad and is making pain worse. I watched all your videos before the surgery o also my lip isn't working on right side. I can't bite food etc.. my lip goes inward into my mouth and my smile is crooked 😭

It sounds like you should go back to your surgeon and report your issues. Also, call the patient line for Inspire. They can direct you too and will want to know.

I called the doctor or hospital number after I got home from surgery I had to call that number one time and I think it was a week after and they were hateful and the lady was like I don't know anything about inspire because I didn't get to talk to my doctor my surgeon.@@livinlavidaketo3142
