Chandler isn't actually like anybody other then Chandler cause he is Chandler and a FICTIONAL CHARACTER. there is little point in a writing a character that the reader/watcher can't identify with or understand(at least from a more protagonist side of things). more over, alot people of people deal with things in similar ways. I deal with negative emotions with sarcasm and humor all the time. people tell me i'm an asshole and to just be serious in stressful situations alot of the time. am I Chandler? No, but I understand him as a character so It is simply human nature to identify with him.
Two thing that I love about this is. 1 that file cabinet was ment to be lock and wasn't. So the reaction to him getting hit in the head was 100 percent real! 2 how Joey had a fork with him at the end!
Holy shit, that file cabinet look like it hurt real bad. I think Jennifer's reaction with her hands covering her mouth was probably real too if that was true.
I'm so glad they kept the cabinet thing in the episode. It's one of the funniest moments in the entire series, and knowing their reactions were genuine makes it even funnier.

For me, it's just the fact that Chandler unconditionally loved Rachel so much, but its so subtle, yet you can still feel it. Chandler's not good at emotions but he always freely expressed love toward Rachel and it's so cute.

They really had that sibling duo. That thing with Rachel’s boss is like, the boss was someone Rachel hated and she had the power to make her suffer, and Chandler is the attractive nerd older brother the mean girl likes, and Rachel is the little sister using that to her advantage but also the one who doesn’t want anyone’s feelings to be played with.
Rachel's eyes when the drawer hits Chandler's head.. You can tell that wasn't scripted.. The shock laughter in those eyes is unmistakable.. I love these two..

I love that you can put any two of the friend group in a room and they could just instantly bond and get along. Like Joey and Monica, Phoebe and Ross, etc. a lot of friend group usually don’t get along or have much in common with at least one member of the group.

I think that would apply more to Phoebe and Chandler. Many a times, their moments were mentioned and not shown.These guys were actually pretty close. While Phoebe didn't like Chandler's sarcasm sometimes, Rachel actually learnt it from him and applied it.
Whenever they had a significant amount of screen time together, ESPECIALLY the glorious Cheesecake episode, the show felt like an entirely different one. These two work so well as platonic male and female characters and if I ever were to make a movie or show I would definitely make characters like these.
my favorite Rachel/chandler moment was when he was drunk and called the restaurant chulies or something like that, and Rachel guessed the right name, so he's like "you get me."
Just watched all these, this might be the best one. There's aren't many with these two but they're all gold, especially the scenes in the office w the handcuffs.
I like how these compilations cut right after the punchlines. It showcases how legitimately funny a lot of the writing and delivery was in that period. Also nicely disproves the theory that people watching were just laughing because they heard the studio audience (most of the time anyway)
i think my favorite moment of theirs is when rachel's upset about her parents divorcing and she tells him about how her family would go out on her father's boat for 4th of july. it's not really a laughable moment, but it's an amazing moment between them two, as he's the only one in the group who can relate to watching her parents marriage disintegrate.
They almost feel like siblings. Love their interactions throughout the show. You should’ve included the part where Rachel gives that hypnosis tape to Chandler to help him quit smoking. “Nah, that patch is no good.” 😂 That reminds me of another great Chandler-Rachel moment - “hey shut up, you’re not my mom.” 😂
Knowing now that matt had a crush on jen makes this video so different now 🥲 now makes sense why their scenes were always so fun even tho so short and few
Chandler's one on one interactions with everybody were golden. Unfortunately, or fortunately, whichever way you look at it, most of the time it was with joey
Because yes, while Matthew was BRILLIANT with every interaction on screen he had with all the cast, the friendship between Chandler and Joey was STELLAR! The only unfortunate part about it, is that the show hadn't been longer - to give Perry the chance to have more screen time with the others. Even their worst episodes, were still bloody ICONIC compared to most of the crap getting produced today.

Best Friends both on screen and off screen. She helped him through his bad phase of drugs and alcohol. They still remain besties even today.

Whenever they had a significant amount of screen time together, ESPECIALLY the glorious Cheesecake episode, the show felt like an entirely different one. These two work so well as platonic male and female characters and if I ever were to make a movie or show I would definitely make characters like these.

my favorite Rachel/chandler moment was when he was drunk and called the restaurant chulies or something like that, and Rachel guessed the right name, so he's like "you get me."

I like how these compilations cut right after the punchlines. It showcases how legitimately funny a lot of the writing and delivery was in that period. Also nicely disproves the theory that people watching were just laughing because they heard the studio audience (most of the time anyway)
i think my favorite moment of theirs is when rachel's upset about her parents divorcing and she tells him about how her family would go out on her father's boat for 4th of july. it's not really a laughable moment, but it's an amazing moment between them two, as he's the only one in the group who can relate to watching her parents marriage disintegrate.
They almost feel like siblings. Love their interactions throughout the show. You should’ve included the part where Rachel gives that hypnosis tape to Chandler to help him quit smoking.

Because yes, while Matthew was BRILLIANT with every interaction on screen he had with all the cast, the friendship between Chandler and Joey was STELLAR!
The only unfortunate part about it, is that the show hadn't been longer - to give Perry the chance to have more screen time with the others. Even their worst episodes, were still bloody ICONIC compared to most of the crap getting produced today.
