Such a clean sound at idle, but still not whimpy. Deep and serious, and then so throaty when you open it up, without being blaring. I like the sound of it more each time I listen!
Cheers. The only 2 Italian bikes I've ever owned are the Diavel and Tuono. It's true what people say, these bikes really do have soul and character. :-)
Wow that is beautiful. The Diavel has really grown on me, and the exhaust shows off that beautiful rear wheel. Man, I really want a Ducati. The 1100 Monster EVO is what I'm after.
That was easy..and beautiful too! Love to own a Diavel. I test rode one in Escondido and was taken aback by the sheer acceleration & power and the rear wheel is awesome! I imagine I would get the carbon fiber copy as long as you're spending money. The Zard people are to be commending for fine design engineering and.....sound!
Personally, I like the look of the original one better. And you can still see most of the wheel with the old one. But I'd say it's worth it for the sound! Wow, what an incredible difference. And without just being louder like so many aftermarket exhausts. I've been really impressed with the little I've seen of the Zard exhausts. They're on my short list of eventual mods for my Street Triple.
when you first put the Zard up to the bike I thought it looked almost the same as the stock but wow was I wrong , the curve of the can shows off the beautiful rear rim perfectly .... Good choice
Do you think it will need remapping with the new pipes? Also what made you pick them over Termis? Enjoy watching your videos thanks for uploading them.
I use the Pan 1100 for commuting and when I DO get chance to ride something else the weather's usually too bad for this beauty or my Tuono, won't be long though.
Hi, wonder if you can help? My mate Ian has a VFR1200 and he wants an aftermarket pipe that looks similar to the origanal. Seen the Zard and this is similar shape. Do you know what is available?
My technical ability is fairly good but my experience with bikes is limited, severely. I was planning on buying an air filter at the same time so it's not just the full exhaust system. I think what I will do is actually buy a cheap bike that I can tinker with in the garage. You wouldn't happen to have any recommendations on where to start looking? Cheers.
There's no motorcycle emissions testing in the UK. Noise is down to the testers discretion. As long as the exhaust doesn't have "not for road use" or "race use only" stamped on it, we're fine
The looks are definately subjective. It sounds a lot beefier without being that much louder. You'll have to do a before an after of yours if you get one, would like to see that. :-)
Hi there - did you do anything with the ECU when you switched over to the Zard exhaust? It sounded ok - was the fuel economy ok after the changeover? Thx. Michael
thanks for the reply knob ;) can see why you don't ride her in the rain they are stunning bikes a friend let me have a quick go on his quite a step up from my 125
No, it was something I've always wanted to try and it came up at the right time. It sits next to the Tuono and Linz (bikerchickvids )likes riding it. :-)
When you fitted the Zard end can did you have to get the bike remapped? was in the show room looking at the Diavel and sales person was saying that any non ducati part will need remapped.
The Termis were more expensive and I really think the Zard is perfect to compliment the rear wheel. They could have called this silencer "the crappy" and I would have bought it due to the design.
I asked this on twitter but I'll ask it here as well, in case you miss it. ;) I'm planning on buying and Akrapovic for my bike but I have zero experience when it comes to fitting parts. Should I get the finger out and try to fit it myself or get a mechanic to fit it? I'm worried I'll make an arse of it and damage the bike in the process.
Ah, ok - does that reply mean that the ECU came as standard, or that you didn't do a thing with the ECU and the stock unit is in there without modification and no power commander, etc?
It's a difficult one to answer as I don't know your ability level. Fitting end cans is more of a jigsaw puzzle than anything detailed. May be worth a go with someone who knows what to do watching. :-)
Hey bud I know this video is old but hoping u get this!! I am getting the same exhaust for my 2014 Ducati Diavel starda and was curious what I need to do as far as ecu and stuff when I put this on my bike??? thanx in advance if u happen to be able to answer
No suggestions unfortunately, unless any subscribers do, I just taught myself and made mistakes over the years (not too many thank god) but it's just trial and error.
I didn't do anything. when I fitted the Akrapovic on the Tuono, I did a lot of research and the conclusion was if it's rearward of the Lambda sensor it should be ok. (Message to everyone reading this: I'm open to educated, researched views on this by the way, not something you all may have heard in a pub lol)

That Diavel is a damn fine looking bike. New exhaust is a great improvement too!
Wow that is beautiful. The Diavel has really grown on me, and the exhaust shows off that beautiful rear wheel. Man, I really want a Ducati. The 1100 Monster EVO is what I'm after.

No question, it sounds great with the new pipes... and shows the wheel off too.. Great looking bike.
The factory comment is exactly what me and Linz said too. Agreed on the noise too. I'd personally prefer "tone" to "volume"
Looks fantastic and it no longer sounds like a tractor idling! Kudos!
Very nice. Can see that rear wheel a lot better now, sounds nice and the can fits the line of the wheel as well.
Thanks. I think Ducati should adopt this can for the new Diavels as standard, looks amazing too.
Thanks mate the best video I’ve seen, a Zard is on order now
might set that sound to be my alarm clock. would be a good way to start the day!

+the NECK Gorgeous isn't it? I sold that Diavel but may be picking up a Red Carbon Diavel next week. :-)
I changed to a Acrapovic silencer on my KTM 125 EXC, looks sooo much better. Amazing what a new exhaust can do. Sounded a bit better as well
Thanks. Hope you're having a good day.
That's lovely! Looks so much better ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yeah mate, that looks a hell of a lot better! Sounds amazing
That has a nice growl to it. Nicely done!
looks and sounds even better :) have a good Christmas
Do you think it will need remapping with the new pipes? Also what made you pick them over Termis? Enjoy watching your videos thanks for uploading them.
Why thank you kind sir, I try my best, any advice on how to lean the bike would be greatly accepted ;-)
I seem to remember sending you the link to that ages ago. Looks n sounds great :-)
oh man, that sounds beautiful!
Very nice mod, rear wheel now fully on display :-)
Just waiting for dry roads now so I can give it a blast.
Can't wait to play on it. I'll do a fly by on it too. ;-)
the new zard exhaust adds to the aggresive look of your diavel. i love the sound, also.
i would love to hear how the zard sounds on the street.
I use the Pan 1100 for commuting and when I DO get chance to ride something else the weather's usually too bad for this beauty or my Tuono, won't be long though.
Yes they do look really good, so will you need to remap the fuel injection?
Looks great and sounds lovely.
Nice one - I do believe the termi exhaust system also reveal more of the wheel and sound as good
No worries. I'll just wing it.
It's good of you to reply, many thanks.
Hey Danny, I do know who you are, you're famously on one of Baron's uploads :-). Thanks for the kind words.
Merry Christmas my friend. Have you noticed any fueling issues with the new exhaust? The sub 4k RPM area? Thanks!
Thanks matey, I'm pleased with it, can't wait to go for a proper ride (may need ear plugs though)

been waiting for this!
That sounds a hell of a lot better.
Looks and sounds great!
Awesome. I bet it makes a nice overrun now.

Looks great!!
looks and sounds incredible mate, how come you dont ride it much in your vids?
Hehe, great description!! Wish I'd said that on the upload, damn! lol
Sounds brilliant great vid, I think you should do some mechanic vids! Show us new riders how to keep a bike well looked after :)
looks awesome, was hoping for some onboard footage though.
Wow awsome great vid ride safe
What a manly sound!
Actually Terry, yes, it's thanks to you I've spent s**t loads of money on this!! lol. thanks for the link. :-)
No, it was something I've always wanted to try and it came up at the right time. It sits next to the Tuono and Linz (bikerchickvids )likes riding it. :-)
Why? Have you got a Diavel too?
Sounds Badass
Beautiful!
Sounds glorious...
When you fitted the Zard end can did you have to get the bike remapped? was in the show room looking at the Diavel and sales person was saying that any non ducati part will need remapped.
did you sell the diavel Russ? Looking at the zard for mine so just wanted your opinion on it and if you sold it with the bike?
The Termis were more expensive and I really think the Zard is perfect to compliment the rear wheel. They could have called this silencer "the crappy" and I would have bought it due to the design.

In my dreams! I just wanted to hear what it sounded like when it could breathe properly :)
Ah, ok - does that reply mean that the ECU came as standard, or that you didn't do a thing with the ECU and the stock unit is in there without modification and no power commander, etc?
Hi great to hear the zard. What made you choose the zard over say the remus if I may ask? Thanks
Simply how it follows the shape of the wheel. Gorgeous.
great sound ;)
I agree totally, suppose I was being "generalistic" with the term.
Cowtipper is right, onboard footage next please! :D

Thanks
Wow big difference
Was that with or without baffles?
On it's way! :-D

Is this the street legal Catalytic converter version!

Much nicer all round!
Hey bud I know this video is old but hoping u get this!! I am getting the same exhaust for my 2014 Ducati Diavel starda and was curious what I need to do as far as ecu and stuff when I put this on my bike??? thanx in advance if u happen to be able to answer
Anthony Aspromonte... Hi, I took it to the local Ducati mechanic and had him update the map. Don't remember anything special being needed
awesome thanx for the quick reply
EPIC
What bike is this :D?
No suggestions unfortunately, unless any subscribers do, I just taught myself and made mistakes over the years (not too many thank god) but it's just trial and error.
They say no remapping necessary as it's an end can.
where did you get the decals on the thumbnail mate?
Nice idea but it'll wake you up with a jolt though! ;-)
your a very lucky man
can you remove the db killer on the zard? and how you do it?
i bet you cant wait, id give my right arm for a diavel, but then again i wouldnt be able to ride it then would I?
Wow
So sound is street legal but emissions isn't? I thought the cat is what made it street legal?
Could do wi getting rid off one NUT in the vid ;-) THe new can sounds like something out of a horror thriller,Wicked
I get so many comments I sometimes forget to respond. No need to be abusive
much better
Yup
Hey Zard, make one for Triumph Tigers
