The titanium headers on the Zard looks so bad ass, just beautiful. I have the full term’s system but the zard is just beautiful. And sound absolutely awesome!! Good choice.
hey bud was curious cause I'm gonna install the black and silver zard exhaust and do u know what I need to do to my bike asfar as ecu and stuff if I put this on my 2014 ducati diavel starda thanx bud
the two major players in Diavel ECU mapping are Tuneboy and Openflash... Both reflash your standard ECU, so no need for extra piggyback ECU..... Benefits of openflash - has it's own tablet, so no need to use laptop - easy interface Benefits of Tuneboy - support for quickshifter / cruise control (purchased as extra add ons) - but, you need to use a PC / laptop to tune... I use Tuneboy, but both systems are pretty good.. :)
awesome thanx for the quick reply and info ill prolly go with the tuneboy I'm also getting the Bazazz Z-fi fuel controller and K&N high flow air filter so hopefully I can get a good map for that set up I have heard the best thing is to get it all Dynoed and mapped from a dealer so I gotta decide on that lmk what u think if I can do it all on my own with the tuneboy and my laptop I'm pretty computer savy and mechanically inclined so
also don't they have something that matches the Bazaazz thing I'm getting that will tell me after I test ride bike what I can do to best map it??? And 1 more question do u know if I do these things if it will void my Ducati warranty??? thanx again for reply
there is no need to get the Bazzaz, it's just another fuel map ECU, you would be doubling up on the tuneboy... There are quite a few youtube vids on tuneboy and diavel - have a look, it's pretty simple.... your tuner may or may not be familiar with tuneboy... it may pay to talk to them first and see what they're happy with (if you are going for a custom tune)..
ECU mapping may void your warranty on certain items (ie: the engine) but won't on others (ie: brakes, etc).... I'm not 100% sure with Bazzaz (they're not as popular for the Diavel as the Tuneboy or OpenFlash but what you're talking about seems to be a self-tune function. These are never ideal and come off as 3rd best against a professional tune or a tune made in-house for your exhaust (but not on your bike - so eg: using Tuneboys Zard Slipon Tune).... Ahhh.. also forgot to add Tuneboy has launch control (which I've not had the balls to use)... :) :) As well as being able to have 3 maps and switch between them on the fly (in addition to the 3 Sports / Cruise / Slow modes on your Ducati, which are not explicitly fuel maps in themselves but affect throttle response and DTC).
well yeah, because there are only 100 of the titanium cans around... :/....... but if you're serious about losing weight there's only this or the motocorse titanium system...

It's awesome to see a beautifully modded diavel coming out of Taiwan. Very nice

Actually, the additional 5-6 db is roughly equivalent to twice the perceived volume! Which is a lot!

hand grips are Ducati Performance items, the frame plugs are rizoma.... I used to live in OZ (WA) for a few years... now hanging out in Taiwan :)

Mirrors are a ducati performance item, just mounted underside

Super good microphones are expensive. Would be cool if someone with a 3D binaural mic would record exhaust clips.
I think I can get away with using my Zoom H4N... it's not ideal but probably good enough....
