How to set up a hexayurt in 7 minutes

- By using zippers we have created a system for setting up a hexayurt very quickly in mildly windy conditions at Burning Man. The materials used are very UV resistant and these yurts should last in excess of 10 years.

Nice... I'd love to see construction plans for how the panels were made, including attaching the zippers. For tiny homes for the homeless, Possibly bonding a layer or two of fiberglass cloth on each side of the panels would make these super rugged against abuse and very very stiff. Carbon fiber would be lighter, but would probably be a horrible tradeoff against cost.
Cool yurt! Do you recommend taping the seams with blue outdoor tape to minimize playa dust?
would like to see close-ups of the zippering up process. Also, are there suggested options for flooring?
Curious as to applying the hexayurt concept but in the opposite temperature range: cold. If you could insulate the inside and ventilate it simultaneously, that would be interesting. Cooler yet you could make it able to take in a wood stove. That would also be ideal when in the desert as the nights get cold.
Bummed you aren't selling these (site is down, so that's what I am assuming) because I'd purchase one in a heartbeat lol.

What kind of tape did you use?
I think two of these guys starred in the Wizard of Oz! They should follow the yellow brick road to a step stool or ladder. If you have one of these yurts, you'll want taller friends.

Right I would like to see them put this up on the Playa with a constant 30 mile-an-hour wind you're going to need more people than that I guarantee it

So does a person have to climb in & out of a small hole or what, you never showed that part of the video

it is 9.5 mil vinyl
the hinges are insignia cloth which is also used to anchor the zippers. lots of technology here that is impossible transmit in comments.
