Youth of delight, come hither,
And see the opening morn,
Image of truth new born.
Doubt is fled, & clouds of reason,
Dark disputes & artful teazing.
Folly is an endless maze,
Tangled roots perplex her ways,
How many have fallen there!
They stumble all night over bones of the dead,
And feel they know not what but care,
And wish to lead others when they should be led.

About Fragments of Experience:
Inspired by William Blake's Songs of Experience, this short film comprises original music and cutting-edge Al animation, 2D animation, Blake's own visual art, and live performance footage. The original music was composed for a soprano and a five-piece chamber ensemble, with the addition of digitally manipulated music, coupled coupled with Blake's poetry delivered as spoken-word and Lieder.
Created in association with Positive Note Films, The Blake Society, Blakefest, One Glass Eye Records, and the Oxford International Festival of Song.
