I spent quite a time compering interior between different Lexus models and to be honest LBX suits me the most. Others are flashy, big screens, some textures etc, but all bit overdone like in BMW or Mercedes. It's bit of "fake luxury" made of plastic, just in different textures and colors. Much more prefer this "suede" in top LBX trim. Way more pleasant. Interior is simple, but elegant and cleen. Only Lexus LC impressed me more (but this is serious money)- others make better impression, but only this initial one, until you start touching things and actually spent some time with it. Then it all starts to be not so high quality and finish. Bigger models may have better seats though, even if LBX ones are absolutely ok. Other than this LBX has everything what you can find in bigger models in terms of assist systems and overall most of the 'tech". It's not Yaris Cross for sure as about every part is different and also made (and put together) in Japan. It's very pleasant to sat in and very nice to drive. Easy to handle (feels effortless) with bit of sporty feel.
A Great, fair and objective review. I’m awaiting delivery of my Takumi Design LBX, it’ll be my fourth Toyota after a Corolla GR-Sport and a mk4 Yaris GR-Sport. I was absolutely blown away after test driving the LBX, it’s perfect as I love smaller cars yet it’s deceptively large and practical for what it is. The interior and refinement is absolutely levels above my Yaris but obviously doesn’t match my friends RX, but then that’s an entirely different price point. Similar with performance, again for what the LBX is, it’s noticeably quicker than my GR-Sport, yet nearly matches the efficiency. Going to be a long 3-4 month wait 😂
From what I could read, the paddle shifters are not meant to (and probably will not) reduce fuel consumption by adjusting regenerative breaking. Unfortunately, no air vent at the rear and no adjustable boot height such as in the Yaris Cross.
Please could you do an updated review of the VW Taigo in match/life trim vaiants with this bloke? Found the Taigo review lacking in several departments, and w/match edition now present, the "green beast" (referring to rhe colour), needs a second chance and opinion

Thank you for your comment! The worst part is the wait, I hope it's everything you wanted, once it arrives!
This channel - and this reviewer in particular - are simply the absolute best on TH-cam. The benchmark which all others should aspire to match.
Have you started this new channel?nice to see you and hear you again
We are the same as the old channel, just operating under a new name! Welcome back!
Really like this small Lexus. Too bad it is not available in the US 😢
surprisingly large and solid when seen in person, a few going lightly used for 57,000$ NZD currently (26,000 GBP)
Conquest other brands is right, I’ve left Renault for it, never bought anything but Renaults
Any changes coming for the 2025 models?
If the cars start in EV mode when does the the heater start working?
