LBX back seat is so tight and you cannot stretch your legs in the front passenger seat. Q2 steering is more precise and responsive. Audi should see Q2 model as a volume mover, and bundle more safety features like rear traffic alert, foldable side mirror, 360 view camera. Electronics gadgets do not cost that much and Korean and even Chinese manufacturers bundle them for free. German premium brand values eroded quickly if they did not change their business model.
I wouldn’t trust Audi to build me a wheelie bin. Lexus every time for me, at least the engine will always get me to my destination. Dual fuel injection on the Lexus is a must.
I bought a Q2 last month and while I didn't seriously consider the LBX I'm very happy with the Audi. For me the 'dated' interior and tech are actually a positive; I like how there's a physical button for everything and the car isn't constantly beeping and firing safety warning messages at me. No piano black trim or touchscreens also means the interior stays much cleaner for longer. The infotainment is last-gen but works perfectly fine, and carplay with the rotary dial isn't too painful once you get the hang of it. Ride comfort is great even on the big rims yet it still handles well for an SUV. The engine never feels underpowered as it's making peak torque by 1500rpm. The gearbox is well tuned, you barely notice it changing gears and it has a sport mode which really wakes the car up. Overall a very comfortable, practical and surprisingly enjoyable car to drive. No regrets.
save 20K and go buy a high spec CX3, great interiors, reasonable servicing costs, very reliable model thats been around for yonks and a lot of fun to drive.
Comparing a car that hasn’t changed much in eight years vs an all brand new model…umm… okay. No sunroof option on the Lexus? That’s really luxurious… considering you can get them on Honda Civics and Toyota Corollas.
The LBX is a good city car but that rear suspension is not alright for the segment. When I test drove it, it was all over the place when going over bumps and potholes. That being said, the Audi interior is just sad, it's a VW with fancier seats and far from Luxury.
confronto ingeneroso.
You are comparing a Q2 which has been on the market for several years, with something that is brand new and not even available in Australia. Of course the technology will be outdated. Despite this Q2 quality is much much better and will last a lot longer
We have an LBX Sports Luxury 4WD in Red with a black roof. The front cabin is almost identical to our Lexus NX450H+ PHEV. The cars are very complementary given they have identical technology. We like the self-parking of the LBX and wish it was on the NX450. The LBX averages about 4.8 l/100km so is very frugal whilst the NX450 gives us about 80 km of EV. The cars are interchangeable in so much as frugality and luxury and we only prefer the NX450 when we have grand children in the rear. We really love the upholstery of the LBX which is grey suede with red trim. Having wireless Apple Car Play in both cars is excellent.
Lexus always builds quality and reliable cars .
Audi doesn’t? 😂😂😂
@@BridgeStamford yep that’s correct they don’t 😂
@@GEE819 my A3 just clocked 400k kilometres 🤣🤣🤣
@@BridgeStamford you still need to do another 400 k to get close to a Lexus!!🤔
@@BridgeStamford no
One will last 20 years longer than the other and hold it's value during that time.
Which one?
@@StefanoCipo87 is that a rhetorical question?
@@StefanoCipo87obviously Audi
the Q2 looks like a jacked up A3 hatchback from 1997
Can’t afford it? 😂
As a Audi fan, I must say Lexus hands down beats q2 in quality, in 2 months I will get my mrs copper lbx full spec
Stop using CVT as a synonim for E-CVT. End result may be similar, but design, build and reliability is soooo different.
Lexus is the best
We get 10 years warranty on the car and 16 years on the hybrid battery for the lexus in europe
Very informative video mate! Was surprised by the higher service cost for the Lexus.

Well told comments, fun to listen to. Well done!

Rear air vents are under driver and passenger seats. This way cold air comes to the rear. Not sure if in every trim though.
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations

Dvd player in 2024, good thing Audi
It’s a dealbreaker. Give the wife a CD and she jams the glovebox full of old Meatloaf and Michael Jackson CDs that she never listened to😂
There’s a 8 month plus wait to get a Lexus, can get an Audi now
It's because nobody want that shitbox lol lmao imagine driving an audi
4-6 month wait for the LBX, not 8 months. How do I know that, I have one on order.
@@TheNoisyNinja72 Interesting, I’d better go to your Lexus Dealership
@@markbowman5580 Lexus of Chatswood, has it written on the order “4-6 months”.

Audi is built to last. Here I am about to clock 400k km in my A3 and now changing to a q2 - fancy gadgets on the others won’t persuade me
That's a fair distance! What type of driving do you do?

The LBX is available in Australia & has been since April or May…. I’ve recently ordered one.
Of course they are. It’s one of the LBX direct rivals and both are sold in Oz
tell me you know nothing about cars without telling me you know nothing
Q2 quality better? Will last a lot longer? Delusional.
