And he and Alan were awesome friends till Rowan started to be a dick.
From this point of view he kinda deserves it.
It's funny, heartwarming, and sad all wrapped up into one incredible episode.

I absolutely love this one. I'm so glad you didn't end it on a joke or make Rowan say something stupid at the end. The heartfelt episodes are what make me care about the characters and keeps me watching.

This one hit close to home guys. I have given up a lot to follow my passion. I was homeless for a few years and I still managed to grow my business. I teared up guys. He needed that inclusion. Love all the characters y’all have developed, and I enjoy watching them all. Thank you for making great content guys.
Just now seeing this video again. Thank you guys for keeping up the great work. I have been able to share my knowledge with a few people and we all work together now as a team. As a manager, the first time I had ever been invited to have a drink with my employees felt similar. I felt some need to pretend I couldn't go because I was busier with more important things. But they kept asking once a week or so, and I finally gave it. Felt good, made me feel appreciated and I learned a lot cool things about most of them.
I wish it was easier to do this with covid all around us :/

This video is quite special actually because it reminds us of how big of a problem loneliness is.
A lot of people are lonely and hurt - keep an extra eye out for who they are and invite them for a beer next time even if you normally wouldn't.

This makes my heart so warm. Rowan is such an interesting character.
Been there and i can confirm, having a beer in the parking lot after a late shift with your boss and colleagues is one of the best things.
That was so heartwarming. That quick glance of understanding between Alan and Adam before Adam gives the beer to Rowan really jumped out for me. And then the humble 'thanks' from Rowan as the gut punch. Fantastic acting, well done.
Agreed. May I recommend to you the "Simon says" episode if you haven't seen it already, as I think that's basically also a very emotional one with fantastic acting.

This kinda throws Rowan into a new light. Remember the awards episode where he gave himself all the prizes, and gave $50 Adam for "longest employee". He actually never won anything, and acutally just gave Adam $50 .
Adam got the prize for "Best hair" though. Not longest employed - that was Alan, who won a charging cable for a phone he didn't have

Woodcutter cutting through the feels was a great palate cleanser but this one closing out with the soft music is so wholesome. We all know Rowan will be back to being a colossal jerk in the morning but for a brief moment in time we get to see a little shred of humanity. When you're making people feel unexpected feelings, you're obviously doing it right. Moar!

This is one of the best Bored episodes for me. I love the depth of emotion Rowan conveys in such a short period of time. I like that they share a quiet bonding moment at the end. More of this please!!

I know the video is old and the buzz on it is dead but I just wanted to say that good on the lads for being kind. Too bad Manager Rowan isn't the sort to reciprocate. I'd feel empathy for him but he makes the choice to be a jerk to people. You usually get back what you put into the world. Great video VLDL.
I enjoyed the shot at the end, with the Playtech's Work, Play and most importantly at that moment, Support. Family. Even if Rowan is like an intolerable older brother.

I saw the twist coming but where you got me was the right at the end where you get a glimpse of a different side of Manager Rowan and how lonely he really is. To make you feel genuine sympathy for a vilenous character like Manager Rowan is absolute top close storytelling and acting. You guys are incredible.

it would be great if the series continues with moments like this and slowly Rowan begins to become a better person from the empathy shown to him by the people around him. All culminating to moments where he begins standing up for his coworkers (comedy moment: like the fax machine but rowan is like WTF meanwhile Allen is like "oh not again!") and eventually to one of those hot tub time machine moments where the crew is like "yeah, he's an asshole but he is our asshole".

One of the best if not the best ep I've seen from you guys and I've seen them all. Don't domment much, but wanted to give credit to Rowan for such great acting skills. All the lads actually. This was a nice change of heart in this one. Show's Rowan is actually human and has his own issues. I like the moment at the end when they clink bottles. Such a great moment. Love the vids guys.
