the camp mum one is so accurate, its always the players who have 10,000 hours who find helping new players is fun.
I will run content I get no loot or new rewards from just because I like helping players get what they want from it. Even better if they have struggled to get the win and I get to see the joy at trying something for the first time.
I'm the camp mum. I probably dropped like 2000 hours into Diablo 2 helping new players. I'd just drop a lot of my loot so newbies can get a leg up. (P.S. I could literally solo ubers so i'd pretty much beat the game in every way it could be beaten except the holy grail list)
I love that one it was my favorite. It's how I am with my kids

The Camp Mum skit gets me every time 😂, especially how everyone's voice softens and becomes higher pitched with time.
I genuinely really enjoy playing with new players. More people enjoying the things that I myself love? Yes please.
It's like someone experiences it for the first time and you get to relive the same feelings again

I like playing with new players sometim3s but it really depends on the player. Some people are helpless and rude and arrogant, while others learn and grow with you
especially in older games, introducing people into the world helping them etc.
The experienced players are always so nice, to this day I remember death knight that was super helpfull when I and my schoolmate started❤️ (for me again after time) and those skits are art

The way Solaire is acted in this, voice, tone and mannerisms are exactly what I imagined it would be like to chat with him in real life.
12:12 that’s the best one, I love how they progressively get more and more child like, and the host player is just extra high level helping them out lol. I do that some times, it’s fun being the house host.
There's an extra special circle of hell waiting for all spawn camping trash. The best thing about couch-based multiplayer was that no one would pull that shit. Not twice, anyway.

One of my favorite noob stories is from the orlginal Everquest. We were in middle school and our friend, Shawn, started playing it first and talked a few others into trying it out. So, me and my friend Jeremy bought it and started playing. After we created our characters we started in Freeport. Shortly after that, Jeremy is in Freeport shouting, "does anyone know Shawn from Windermere, Florida?" over and over. I still laugh about this to this day.
Of course, he wasn't even on that server so he never got the benefit of seeing that awesome display of noobism.
Love the skit with Adam and rowan, herbalist vs assasin perks. Rowan was so toxic with Adam's choice, then got humbled. Adam did not respond back with more toxidity instead tried to see the good points in Rowans choice because Adam was humble and genuinely enjoyed the game and class he played.
I never get tired of the dark souls skits. Would love for a sequel. Maybe elden ring haha. You guys are amazing

Regarding the "bought armor clip", he cheated himself, happiness in such games comes from the hard work you put in acquiring the items. Also spending some small amount of real money that one gets during like what? 1-2 extra hours in real job? is not comparable with the hundreds of hours of dedication put into playing the game while not skipping the hard parts. Investment of time matters, not money. From any angle I look at this, players, like Rowan portrayed in this clip, both cheated themselves from the real game experience/feeling while spoiling the game for the time invested players.
The crossplay one was too much😂😂

This video got me nostalgic. Another noob thing I did when I was new to MMO's and a lot of computer games was also in Everquest. There were some guys that used to shout, "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!" and then someone else would say, "SOMEBODY SET US UP THE BOMB" and then start counting down.
I used to run and zone out because I was afraid that the zone was going to explode.

I first got helped in LOTRO by someone named Letird from Australia. Huge shoutout because that Guild made me love the game. I got Trolled by a member which got me kicked, but still fond memories before that.

i really want a cinema movie to happen at one point. I don't know how it would work. But i'm definitely seeing a crew of great actors and special effects artists and i'd just love to see it all come together in a full on movie. Keep being your silly selves and spreading epic joy
They did a mini-movie called Baelin's Route, not quite a full cinema movie but really well done nonetheless
Baelin's Route has a presentation that rivals AAA movies.
They are getting around 5 million hits every time they release a sketch, so I'm sure it's difficult to justify when releasing a feature length movie is hundreds of times more work and budget.

But i just see them already being so far in production quality in the overall that i can picture them making a movie and the movie turning out good.

this is why i love phantasy star universe us acrotechers can make things extremely easy by buffing and healing team while freezing and debuffing foes, while allowing new folks to do all the damage/kills. course we can dps decently too if we want/need to

Setup is something like a reality show and after some controversial or dumb things happen there is a cut wit a private interview of the actors. But Rowan doesn’t understand that the cut part is afterward so every time someone said something he considers a stupid, he steps aside and rages over them.

While I never sherpa'd. The other day I used the Finder to do some warlord's runs to get bones. Ended up with a two man group who kept apologizing due to their amount of deaths. Apparently one was teaching the other the dungeon. I just told them it was all good, I had all day and was not at all bothered by the deaths or struggles. One of them expressed surprise as apparently it's common I guess for Fireteam Finder players to be assholes or something? I dunno, I had fun.
