Ypu can do a home test as long as its proctored on a video call. I do these all the time. Ive cruised 5 times so far since start up. I use the binaxnow home test these are accepted
WE are going on our cruise Monday july 18 and im stressing over these test, so me and my husband are vaccinated with boosters and both our daughters are vaccinated but no boosters but they are not eligible to get them yet since it hasnt been 5 months.. do they still have to wait the two days as well or three? and you took the rapid NAAT test for you and your son at Walgreens, thats what i choose for all 4 of us but so worried its gonna be the wrong test
The NAATs are fine! Based on my experience, I believe that you can test 3 days before (so on 7/15) because y’all are up to date on your shots and boosters. If you were not up to date, then you would have to test on 7/16 (2 days before). I’d call carnival customer service line to be sure also.
I didn’t realize that that was an option, but I understood that it had to be done through the pharmacy after looking at their website. Thank you for sharing, did you do it that way, at home?

Is carnival allowed rapid test?
Yes. We take that kind in this video. They cannot be at home tests though
