I never knew there was a specific order to play the houses! I always started with the Pleasants, then went to the Brokes & Dreamers. And I always saved the Goths and Don for last, basically playing the whole thing backwards LOL
I used to mindlessly play sims 4 not knowing how hot the tea issss

I love how Don Lothario is just trying his best to go to the bathroom, and drink, and not be a womanizer, despite his entire story revolving around that point.
Its so interesting watching what others do in the Sims. When I was young and played it, all I cared about was house construction/character creation along with a little regular gameplay. It's really cool to see people explore and use the pre-made families as I never gave them any mind!

Really glad to find a long term Sims 2 Let's Play. I prefer the Sims 2 to the newer titles massively (because I love to develop entire neighborhoods through many many generations) and it's really cool to find someone who also enjoys playing that way. I haven't played through Pleasantview for years as I've generally found I prefer making my own towns and stories but it's a real nostalgia hit to hear that music again. Looking forward to watching the rest and exploring the rest of your content!
What would you do if you just wanted to woohoo with your lover in the hot tub but all he would do was keep climbing in and out while talking about fried eggs?
Wow, I never knew that Don’s stereo played unique music...
I think it's like background music. It only happens during this scripted event. If he turns the stereo on, it stops the music and you can never get it back. I always try to keep him away from the stereo when I first play him so I can listed to this music as long as possible. :)

I've been playing an adult woman sim for some time now, $600,000 net worth. A few interesting developments have happened. I discovered a gravestone in her yard. It turned out to be her gardener, Erika something. Her new gardener is a woman named Marissa. I can only imagine that Erika was struck by lightning while on the job. My sim became a criminal mastermind, awesome work clothes. She brought a friend home from work wearing the same leotard costume as my sim. It was her gardener, Marissa, who is apparently moonlighting as a criminal mastermind. This is an awesome, old game. It will be quite some time before I become bored with this one.

@@PleasantSims Just one more thing that I think you might enjoy reading. Marissa the gardener/criminal mastermind, while wearing the sinister/Batman show style costume, also wears her gardener's straw hat with twin ponytails.

I've been really nastalgic about nostalgic for the Sims 2 lately and I just found this channel and LOVE this. I've been a fan of Sims since the Sims 1 but I truly believe that Sims 2 is the BEST iteration of the game and this makes me want to find all my old disks and download them back on to my computer, hopefully I still have the old save files too. :)
The way you play is very similar to how I used to play the Sims 2 and I find your voice so relaxing.

I've always played the Sims 2 like this! I've always been curious about the pop ups. except not in suggested order, i didn't know about it till now.
I love the scripted story for Pleasantview! It's so much fun! It's not necessary to follow but helps with the initial drama of the neighborhood. :)

I can't help but think of the plot of "Wild Things" with the Lothario/Calientes/ and Goths. Like it's a ploy for Don and the Sisters to get their hands on that Goth money anyway they can.

I have to say, I absolutely love pleasantview. The amount of scripted events makes it fun to play over and over again. I’m pretty much usually in pleasantview all the time and I’m planning on playing the neighbourhood again. Also I’m planning on moving Kaylynn into the neighbourhood, I’m pretty sure it was your channel that gave me the idea. I have a story arc in mind for her.

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who enjoyed ruining the entire town of Pleasantview. 🤣🤣 I feel like I eventually removed the jealousy with a mod. I ended up eventually marrying Cassandra to Darren Dreamer. She deserved better than Don.
Wait til you see who she ends up with in my game! And now I use ACR to control jealousy so my Romance Sims don't get as jealous. :)

Oh man, this brings me back to so many memories of this! While I never did the scripted events because I tend to make my own sim and play that, but I do remember the hut tub woohoo. PS: I used to have the game (just the Sims 2 game itself) but then I had to get rid of it because it had lots of scratches on the disc.

Pleasant Sims is that where you got your? Because if I buy them off Those sites wouldn’t it just say those codes have been used already or no?
@@HAILEY-ft6kl No, I got mine from Origin when they were giving away the Ultimate Collection. But the old discs can be played without connecting to Origin. I used to have the disc version. You don't have to register it or anything. You can just install it and play old-school style. :)

The meeting went brilliantly!! We both were shaking but after a while it got better. Lots of hugs too because I like those. She also got me Gifts, again! A beautiful Schleich horse, a butterfly magnet and a heart shaped dream catcher (I love feathers and stuff). I took her to one of my favorite shops and got her whatever she wanted, no matter the price! It was awesome! Her mum is lovely, very funny! My mum and her mum got on very, very well and they are surprised how well me and her got along. I did try to explain we're two peas in a pod! However, they (my mum and her mum) both feel this is more like a companionship than a relationship. Either way, we're happy. :P

I've just discovered this channel and I love your videos! Sims 2 is by far my favourite of the Sims games, but I had to stop playing it after the disc got too scratched and I lost some of the expansion packs. I had just stuck to Sims 3, which is a good game, but I'll always have a soft spot for the Sims 2. I love the premade towns (especially Pleasantview) because the stories are so detailed and interesting (the premade families in the Sims 3 just don't compare) and it's always really fun to see how they progress. Also, that game makes me so nostalgic. I've re-ordered the Sims 2 base game and the expansion packs that I lost/never owned, and in a few days, I'll get to play it again. I'm beyond excited :)

I love how much knowledge you have about the sims. Personally I never got to play sims 2, neither sims 3. I dindt have a computer that could run them. I was stuck with the sims 1 haha. One of my Friends had the sims 2 but never spoke about the characters or the story.
As a former the sims player (and now sims 4 player) I really appreciate your channel, because it has the original sims spirit, wich I love.

What’s the order that they have to be played in?? Oh. I’ll shut my mouth lmao you just showed the screen. But how long do you have to play each one and then move to another family? What do the scripted events look like, like idk what I’d expect to know I played it right. I have the sims ultimate collection and I’d love to play them in the right order :)
Edit I never knew that a sim gets 6 want slots because of a degree lol I just horses around with my sims at the uni. I never got any them to get a diploma lol!!
