- Opening my first set box of Magic: The Gathering Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth Special Edition. This has to be the best box you could possibly get without hitting a serialized card. The poster treatments are really nice art pieces though I'm not so sure about game pieces. Now I'm wondering if I should go back for more...

Crazy thing is you could buy the two rings and the party tree for less than the whole box and most will not pull this good.

My God, I think this pack is the twin of the one we opened: poster One Ring foil, Extended One Ring Surge, Great Hange surge, Delighted Halfling surge, Nazgul... In total about 500 euros of cards

The One Rung Non Foil is about 200 bucks. The Foil version is 400.

I hate the poster treatment so much. I couldn't tell what the cards were.
It's not about knowing what the cards do. it's about the value of it. I would never use that card in an actual match tournament or casual. They'll be double sleeved and stored in my non-trade binder.

Hate how they destroyed the specialty to the surge foil. Party surge was over 400 and now it's 60. Kinda stupid of them.

@@Lichbitz specifically the ones that were special in the first LOTR collector boxes vs the second LOTR boxes having them more often making it not special anymore
@@benjaminharding6386 Oh yeah, that was very annoying. At the very least give them different art not just treatment OR do a whole different set of cards for the Realms & Relics this time around

imagine havign massive franchise like LOTR or Warhammer yet u don't have a single good mmorpg or moba game out there. what a wasted potential. LOTR Conquest could be it if they would jsut continue to develop it. total war arena either

What? They're sick! They make great collector pieces. I'd say they were not intended to see deck use in normal play
