The morpheus strip has 1 more trick. Instead of cutting through the middle try to cut it at 1/3 of the width. You'll end up with a normal strip and a morpheus strip.

Paper is quite strong from that direction, though very weak if you apply a perpendicular force. Also, cylinders are naturally one of the strongest 3-D figures for vertical pressure. As long as no forces are acting on the cylinders from the sides, they can hold way more weight than you'd expect.

When you strike the popper on your other hand, you must ensure enough air gets locked between your hands to pop the popper. Also when you strike, make sure your popper hand lands evenly on the other.

Obviously the size doesn't matter, but THICKNESS matters.
You can fold a piece of paper, no matter what the size, as much as you want when thickness isn't a problem.
You couldn't fold the paper 8 times because the paper was too thick. Gees

+AliaIsabel May be you are not doing it right. The way you hold the popper should not leave too much of air gaps. When you strike the popper on your other hand, you must ensure enough air gets locked between your hands to pop the popper. Also when you strike, make sure your popper hand lands evenly on the other.
