I got many question. One of them: how can the eulers disk move so long with that lower Energy input ?
Mirrors have one of the smoothest surfaces on the planet. In addition, the disk also has very smooth surface and shape. Those 2 things result in very little friction.

(3 months later,) this comment doesn’t age well... especially considering my company is furloughing me and most of our 3,000 employees in 1.5 months, and going bankrupt in 3.5 months. This has gone-on for >150 days already, and is expected to blast through 360 as if it were nothing... for political reasons and no others.

As an update to my previous timeframes: my 1.5 and 3.5 months information was naively optimistic... our company decided to close its doors on Sep. 30. (Only one month after previous post.) I've received a warm welcome to the world of unemployment! Yay! 🤨 Not only that, but over 40,000 airline employees have joined me too! Wonderful! (blatant sarcasm).
Many airlines avoided far greater numbers by getting their employees to take temporary pay cuts and work significantly reduced hours (to help fellow crews avoid furlough).
We waited it out too long, and it's not expected to improve for another 1/2 year (summer 2021). Time to get back to the "old" normal.

dhopper598 i have owned one for 6 years. Still always gets me, especially the last second. Its a great trip toy for psychedelics etc... Even cooler is while its spinning i shine my high powered laser pointer at it. Creates an insane light show. If you do it just make sure you wear safety glasses and have you friends not look at the disk.
