Thanks to all local businesses who have ”been there” in times of need. This includes, but not limited to ... 15 year old parts for machinery that hasn’t been sold for at least 14 years!, surprise drop-ins (friends/family) that test your food/liquor supplies (restaurant/delivery/groceries) and just plain ole’ good advice from neighbours who have been there. All businesses can be financially challenged, at times, but....If they’ve been there for you in the past... try supporting them - before clicking on some Amazon item made in countries abroad - to save a $3 dollars! The very best of luck to those who enter the draws/lotto. Thanks for another video.
QDM for PM!! Seriously if more people had your attitude it would be a better world! You always make too much sense! love your videos and content. Regards from an Albertan hangin on in the oil patch.
Top of the morning to you QDM, good to see the rain coming and the crops starting! Speaking of buying local, was helping rancher buddy with branding last spring - like I did for the previous 27 and he asks, "you want any beef this year or did you manage to kill something hunting?" I shamefully admitted my ineptitude at successfully obtaining free range protein and he says, "That black and white steer in the pen behind us look okay to you?" Since I remembered branding him the spring previous, he indeed looked fine... I must say QDM - he tasted just fine as well! Good points again sir, keep 'em coming and stay well.
Yup. I got an old pull behind JD 30 combine and an International Harvester MF grain drill both for 300 about 15 years ago. Just have to start restoring them now.

I will buy from certain areas of Canada since bc and quebec do not want our oil their product stays on the shelf. I buy American instead of those 2 provinces.
I am from BC. Believe me, everyone I know wants your oil. We love you guys. It's the commies in the provincial legislature that are trying to stop the pipelines, not us average Joe's.
@Vic Neufeld - although I feel your frustration please remember there are some great people in these provinces that are great, hardworking Canadians. Your words to @Yonatho Alexander Hunter for example - that is like someone from outside Canada telling Quick Dick that he can't be against Trudeau because "You guys voted him in." which QDM can promise you he didn't hahaha. There are MANY hard working Canadians in BC and QC that share our point of view, they just simply have a voting population that overpowers them. Sorry you feel that way sir, but I submit that you're listening to the lame stream media in this regard. For instance here in the Okanagan, there were before the railway blockades and beer flu hit us, more folks living here and working the oil patch than most folks could believe. Had direct flights in and out of Fort Mac to Penticton.... The Okanagan as a whole consistently votes and acts on the right of the political spectrum, but of course as QDM says there's not enough of us to sway the vote provincially. When Rachel Notley said no Okanagan wine into Alberta, it didn't make any difference to the folks in the big smoke, but it hurt Alberta's allies here in the heartland. Anyways sir, that's the view from the sometimes sunny south this morning. Stay well.
