Don - damn dude, I'll give the subjective 'best vocalist in my lifetime' but it makes me think you've not heard Floor Jansen sing on the Dutch TV show Best Zangers. I love Haley and have since AI and still follow all that's she done. But honestly, Floor can bring her audience literally to tears - to hell with the goosebumps - just check out two of her songs from that show - her duo on "Phantom of the Opera" (th-cam.com/video/plCScjvDOJM/w-d-xo.html) and her solo of "Shallow" (th-cam.com/video/M68pe4a_9zk/w-d-xo.html). She is the lead singer for the symphonic metal band Nightwish which is not a preferred genre for me. She's a large woman with a dynamic instrument of which she has completely mastered. You should check out the Extra chewing gum commercial where she sings the Elvis Presley song "I Cant' Help Falling in Love". Watch the actual commercial first and then watch the version cutting in and out between the commercial and Haley in the studio. It's nice seeing her, but the full commercial is the way to start IMO.
Haley's and PMJ's collaboration on Black Hole Sun is an excellent arrangement that allows Haley to transition from classical ballroom singer to a jazz cabaret singer to an arena rock star and really displays her incredible range.

It was a hot and humid night as she walks onto the stage of the smoky room full of the buzz of people laughing and talking as the band begins to play a sultry intro in the background. The sound is mellow and men begin to lose interest in conversations as she steps up to the microphone. By the end of the first line she has captured the ear of everyone in the room, the pianist glances up quickly to measure the room and catches the manager's crooked smile. By the end of the second line the staff stops moving as everyone is frozen in place by the hypnotic power the singer has over them. A wave of goosebumps spreads out across the audience of both men and woman alike and drinks and cigarettes are forgotten. By the end of the song people have forgotten themselves and like a snap of the fingers, the drop note makes people self aware again. But the soldier drinking alone in the back of the room became aware for the first time since he returned home on the first note she sang. He stands and steps forward. The only movement in the room catches the singer's eye as she looks at the frozen people, he smiles at her and she gives him a look that says, "Get in line buddy."

When she audition at American Idol, she was turned down (!), then returned the next year and bowled them over. In my humble opinion, Haley Reinhart is the preeminent female jazz vocalist and performer in the world today and you're right she deserves to be a mega superstar because she has it all. However, for Haley to become a superstar, she first must sign a record deal with a major record label. As that is the only way for Haley to get into the major leagues. Meanwhile, inexplicably for some reason so far she has declined. In any event, since you love "Creep" and "Seven Nation Army" so much, then you should also react to Haley's "Oops, I Did It Again" cover with PMJ. As her vocals on that one are off the charts. Indeed, she does so many different and extraordinary things with her vocals so damn fast in that one that it is literally mind blowing, and she does it all with so much ease. You should check out the Extra chewing gum commercial where she sings the Elvis Presley song "I Cant' Help Falling in Love". Watch the actual commercial first and then watch the version cutting in and out between the commercial and Haley in the studio. It's nice seeing her, but the full commercial is the way to start IMO.
Haley's and PMJ's collaboration on Black Hole Sun is an excellent arrangement that allows Haley to transition from classical ballroom singer to a jazz cabaret singer to an arena rock star and really displays her incredible range.

It was a hot and humid night as she walks onto the stage of the smoky room full of the buzz of people laughing and talking as the band begins to play a sultry intro in the background. The sound is mellow and men begin to lose interest in conversations as she steps up to the microphone. By the end of the first line she has captured the ear of everyone in the room, the pianist glances up quickly to measure the room and catches the manager's crooked smile. By the end of the second line the staff stops moving as everyone is frozen in place by the hypnotic power the singer has over them. A wave of goosebumps spreads out across the audience of both men and woman alike and drinks and cigarettes are forgotten. By the end of the song people have forgotten themselves and like a snap of the fingers, the drop note makes people self aware again. But the soldier drinking alone in the back of the room became aware for the first time since he returned home on the first note she sang. He stands and steps forward. The only movement in the room catches the singer's eye as she looks at the frozen people, he smiles at her and she gives him a look that says, "Get in line buddy."
I love to hear people who really understand vocals appreciate how unbelievably talented Haley is. Check out her album LoFi Soul, there's not a bad track on it.

Love Haley. She has some excellent covers, "Black hole sun", "Love fool" are two good ones. If you are willing to branch out you might consider reacting to the Home Free covers of "When a man loves a woman" or "American Pie" with the writer/singer Don Mclean. you will like their Acappela styling.

Want to provide a bit of her background...she began singing with her mom and dad on stage from just a young age. When she audition at American Idol, she was turned down (!), then returned the next year and bowled them over. She finished 3rd on the show that year....then like Pentatonix, she started a TH-cam channel and hooked up with PMJ and the rest is history (BTW, she's done performances around the world.)
I know you can't do PMJ every reaction, but the next one you do, should be "All About The Bass", which is such pure, pure fun and enjoyment. In my humble opinion, Haley Reinhart is the preeminent female jazz vocalist and performer in the world today and you're right she deserves to be a mega superstar because she has it all. However, for Haley to become a superstar, she first must sign a record deal with a major record label. As that is the only way for Haley to get into the major leagues. Meanwhile, inexplicably for some reason so far she has declined.
In any event, since you love "Creep" and "Seven Nation Army" so much, then you should also react to Haley's "Oops, I Did It Again" cover with PMJ. As her vocals on that one are off the charts. Indeed, she does so many different and extraordinary things with her vocals so damn fast in that one that it is literally mind blowing, and she does it all with so much ease.
Meanwhile, her performance, i.e., her movements, are almost but not quite over the top. I mean, its just astounding that one single human being can sing, move, and perform like that on a stage and all at the same time. She just blows my mind and blows me away. There is just no other artist in the world that can match her.
