Personally, I think this scene was more about how much Topaz trusts Jade than how much she likes Aventurine, but I don't mind this ship. Topaz is a really kind person and she sounded sad when she thought he had died, so if Aventurine dropped his act and opened himself to her, she could become a true friend to him, something that he really needs. And if they end up together romantically, no hate to Raturine stans, but it would probably be a healthier relationship ! 😂

Wich was weird considering the friendlier conversation they had through the phone in belobog,teasing the Penacony Planet. A lot of people had contrasting views on their relationship because of this weird voice directing on Topaz(and Ratio) towards aventurine Now back to the video,you probably didn't understand because Jade is very smooth and sly in her inquiries, and questions Topaz about her thoughts on penacony to smoothly "walk" towards the topic of Topaz relationship with Aventurine. - Jade asks Topaz what she thinks on Penacony,Topaz answers according to the IPC's interests -Jade then says:"...but what i *truly want to know* is: this project is too *bland* for your taste. isn't it?" -what Jade wants to know is not how Penacony can benefit the IPC, but why Topaz wanted to be in this project in the first place. What benefit/value Penacony brings to Topaz? if the planet itself doesn't match the kind of project Topaz likes to take on, she is *not there for professional reasons*, but for something *personal* that was *valuable/important to the point of making her take on a project that had nothing to do with her*

When you think about the call in Belobog, it looks like the interest(whether u see it a platonic or not) is mutual. he wanted to have her as a partner in the project, and despite her being hesitant in the call, she accepted it just because of Aventurine, not Penacony! - After that answer Topaz gave,Jade is interested about the depth of their relationship and trust. It's a big deal for Topaz to go to Penacony for no reason other than Aventurine,and Jade starts reflecting loudly about their trust, bringing up the Cornestone, "something as precious as life itself",as another proof of their deep relationship/trust. Take into account this "loud thinking" is a way for Jade to indirectly question Topaz about her relationship with Aventurine -Topaz realized what Jade is trying to get into. She is apparently embarrased and caught off guard,(at 1:53 she is stuttering a little and her tone of voice changes,speaking more slowly and trying to be cautious with her words) as Topaz evades Jade's remarks about their trust/deep relationship and says Jade also gave her own Cornestone. Topaz keeps talking until she fully changes the topic to the negotiations, evading Jade's inquiries about her personal relationship with Aventurine.
- Jade realized Topaz's deflection,making one last remark about Aventurine in 2:23 "[...]at least he is still alive,and *that's the best outcome*" this little line is to tease Topaz,Jade is not fully letting go of the topic. Topaz doesn't say anything about Jade's remark,and shuts down this topic in 2:28 "looks like...we've strayed off-topic, Miss Jade. Should we discuss out next steps" - though Jade's smooth ways, the conversation seen in the video quickly went from professional to personal. I hope my analysis helps you notice the intricacy of their words! To anyone that reads this,it doesn't matter whether or not you ship them romantically,what matters and that i'm trying to show is that they have a very deep relationship,they like and trust eachother, surpassing the boundaries of "just being professional". However, it does seem they have a hard time showing their feelings. Aventurine has difficulty with trust and developing his relationships, and Topaz seems to be scared of showing her true feelings. Because of their difficulties, they seem to like playful bickering,it's a way to bond and spend time with eachother without being direct about the deep feelings they have for eachother(seen in their interaction in the manager quest). Still,their actions make it obvious they like each other and enjoy the other's company lol,it's so cute.

Despite the scholars being extremely cautious, "*they ultimately still fell into the trap*" the reason why is topaz fall to trust him because of what topaz said to us back in 2.1 penacony quest: "he always cozying up to his clients while egging them on to undertake some dangerous assignment with him" "but aventurine luck always been good. he always closed all his cases without a hitch, and basically never lost a gamble, which is why on the issue of retaking penacony I'm watching with keen interest" its like topaz belive how aventurine "wont make any deal that doesn't pay off" So even though this Penacony project is bland for her, she can entrust her corner stone to Aventurine,because she was dragged there(since phone call on belobog) and knew that aventurine would succeed in the end. as she said 1.19 "Penacony remains a top assets within the cosmos, with good credit lucrative potensial and promising prospect, and aventurine probably *telling topaz that he also use jade cornerstone* on this bet *to further convince Topaz to hand over her cornerstone as well* topaz herself said "I'm willing to stake my topaz stone to cover for you... it's like one big elaborate game of chess" toward jade.

I agree. It sounds more like trust to me than something romantic. If anything, what Topaz says implies that she's more into investing in Penacony to cover for Jade so that Aventurine's plans are successful, along so that Jade's cornerstone is safe, despite Penacony being too bland for Topaz's preferences. This one is based off my memory, but Topaz was implied to trust and acknowledge Aventurine's luck and his method of doing things before, so it doesn't sound like her contribution is all for the sake of Jade either. So to me, it sounds like Topaz has equal trust for Jade and Aventurine, enough to let them borrow her cornerstone. No trace of crushes or romantic feelings anywhere to me. I get that it's funny because of Sam Slade simping for Aventurine, but I really don't see it with Topaz.
Need I remind you that the cornerstones are more valuable, or rather important that life itself. I don't ship them, but it's isn't something as simple.

Also if Jade truly didn't care about Aventurine then that would mean he had no value whatsoever which isn't true because of instead of punishing Aventurine for his crime of killing his master as a slave she offered him a job at the IPC.

A lot of people had contrasting views on their relationship because of this weird voice directing on Topaz(and Ratio) towards aventurine
Now back to the video,you probably didn't understand because Jade is very smooth and sly in her inquiries, and questions Topaz about her thoughts on penacony to smoothly "walk" towards the topic of Topaz relationship with Aventurine.
- Jade asks Topaz what she thinks on Penacony,Topaz answers according to the IPC's interests
-Jade then says:"...but what i *truly want to know* is: this project is too *bland* for your taste. isn't it?"
-what Jade wants to know is not how Penacony can benefit the IPC, but why Topaz wanted to be in this project in the first place. What benefit/value Penacony brings to Topaz? if the planet itself doesn't match the kind of project Topaz likes to take on, she is *not there for professional reasons*, but for something *personal* that was *valuable/important to the point of making her take on a project that had nothing to do with her*
-"That's true. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Aventurine"(smiling)
So, Topaz participated of a *hard, serious, complex project that didn't interest her in the slightest* JUST because of Aventurine. That's it, just HIM was the reason she took on this. When you think about the call in Belobog, it looks like the interest(whether u see it a platonic or not) is mutual. he wanted to have her as a partner in the project, and despite her being hesitant in the call, she accepted it just because of Aventurine, not Penacony!
- After that answer Topaz gave,Jade is interested about the depth of their relationship and trust. It's a big deal for Topaz to go to Penacony for no reason other than Aventurine,and Jade starts reflecting loudly about their trust, bringing up the Cornestone, "something as precious as life itself",as another proof of their deep relationship/trust. Take into account this "loud thinking" is a way for Jade to indirectly question Topaz about her relationship with Aventurine
-Topaz realized what Jade is trying to get into. She is apparently embarrased and caught off guard,(at 1:53 she is stuttering a little and her tone of voice changes,speaking more slowly and trying to be cautious with her words) as Topaz evades Jade's remarks about their trust/deep relationship and says Jade also gave her own Cornestone. Topaz keeps talking until she fully changes the topic to the negotiations, evading Jade's inquiries about her personal relationship with Aventurine.
- Jade realized Topaz's deflection,making one last remark about Aventurine in 2:23 "[...]at least he is still alive,and *that's the best outcome*" this little line is to tease Topaz,Jade is not fully letting go of the topic. Topaz doesn't say anything about Jade's remark,and shuts down this topic in 2:28 "looks like...we've strayed off-topic, Miss Jade. Should we discuss out next steps"
- though Jade's smooth ways, the conversation seen in the video quickly went from professional to personal. I hope my analysis helps you notice the intricacy of their words! To anyone that reads this,it doesn't matter whether or not you ship them romantically,what matters and that i'm trying to show is that they have a very deep relationship,they like and trust eachother, surpassing the boundaries of "just being professional". However, it does seem they have a hard time showing their feelings. Aventurine has difficulty with trust and developing his relationships, and Topaz seems to be scared of showing her true feelings. Because of their difficulties, they seem to like playful bickering,it's a way to bond and spend time with eachother without being direct about the deep feelings they have for eachother(seen in their interaction in the manager quest). Still,their actions make it obvious they like each other and enjoy the other's company lol,it's so cute.

This one is based off my memory, but Topaz was implied to trust and acknowledge Aventurine's luck and his method of doing things before, so it doesn't sound like her contribution is all for the sake of Jade either. So to me, it sounds like Topaz has equal trust for Jade and Aventurine, enough to let them borrow her cornerstone.
