@@BlingtingSamactually according to a farmer, they don't. Their skin is black. These are not eating chickens. They are mostly for show! Their eggs are little and they're not as prolific of layers. So mostly for show So this is good news 😊
Have a black silkie, she is a scruffy looking silkie, still fluffy but scruffy, not puffballs like these, but she is happy, healthy and has raised multiple clutches of chicks ❤
we have some of these 😀 we used to have not a lot but when he had chicks we had crossbred normal x silkie and one normal one and others are silkies. i love the crossbred ones but the silkies are just fluffier. the crossbred ones are diy paduan chickens lol. i literally so chickening love silkies
I have three silkies two black one white the white one is snowball the black ones are dusty and spike i named them after what they look like and their personalities dusty is bc she got dust in my eye spike bc she scratched me with her sharp spiky claws they are soo adorable and fluffy and they lay like 8 eggs each day sometimes less but to get them to lay a-lot of eggs you need to feed them a-lot people say that silkies are calm but if its true something must be wrong with my chickens they only come up to me is i have food anything else they run away except for dusty Btw they are all girls 👇if you love silkies Yes i liked my own comment
I want to get one if my parents say yes but I have 2 dogs. One doesn't do anything and the other is a puppy. He's rough sometimes but where would it live? I live in a cold snowy area that has hot summers and idk if it would be okay outside. Like in a coop or in my room but they like poop so I wouldn't want it in my room but I want it with me inside

The chestnut ones are beautiful plus the white ones and is the black one in the back a rooster or hen if u don’t know they have a blue spot near they’re beak and if it’s big it’s a rooster and if it’s small it’s a hen but when they are like 1-6 weeks old u need to was tell they are maybe 1-2 months old to tell maybe even 3 I got 4 of them 2 silkie and 2 showgirls
