I love this! When I tried "no watering can" my whole strategy was trying to grow crops with rain. I've done this challenge several times, and sometimes I get enough rain to grow all the crops for the CC, and sometimes I didn't. But usually I get enough farm levels from just parsnips to be able to craft basic sprinklers by mid-summer. Even on regular playthroughs now I will often plant a large field of wheat in early summer, with no intention to water them myself. All summer and fall I can grow several harvests of wheat this way, and I use it to brew beer for huge profits. It also does a lot to raise my farming skill at each harvest, since the fields are as large as I could make them. (I know these strategies are not the point of this particular challenge video, I just thought you might like to hear my experiences with something kind of related. It's my way of trying to be friendly!)
I actually went into this with pretty much less to almost no planning hahha I started to plan things on the way and that's when I kind of realized that I should have just planted some things as I think there was enough rain for at least one or two parsnip harvests. The rain and wheat strategy does sound interesting and I never really though of it so that is a good strategy to implement later when I need to do so thank you for that tip! PS: I love your strategies and experiencees as it shows me how passionate you are for the game, please keep them coming as I love to hear your opinions as it is awesome insight!
Mythical Warriors: Battle for Eastland is the game you are talking about right? Will make sure to add that to my to-do list for videos! Thanks for letting me know about this game :)
i love this video!! as someone who much prefers fishing in this game and isnt too good at the mines, it was really interesting to see what you can do with the mines, keep up the good work :]] p.s. i love your voice? its the perfect mix of soothing and enticing to me!!
Thank you so much for this lovely comment! You surely made my day! :) I also have a series of "Life as a Fisherman" in the works as well! So hope that video [when it gets released] is interesting for you as well! Once again, thank you so much for the nice things you said and I am glad you enjoyed the video!
I really liked your video! Thank you for putting in all the time, effort and love to create it. A little side note: I think it’s supposed to be „Cindersap Forrest“ (like the sapling) not „Cindersnap Forrest“ ;-)
Thank you so much for the lovely words! Yes I realized this after other people pointed it out as well hahaha for some reason I just thought it was CinderSNAP lol
I wonder if you could speed-run romance with Maru? She loves cauliflower and gold bars, so I guess I'd try to get gold bars first to gift her twice each week, then gift her gold star cauliflowers. Maybe in this way, especially if you talk to her every day, she would be willing to dance with you at the Flower Festival? Obviously the cauliflowers wouldn't work on a no-watering-can run, though.
Hmmm, that's something I kept trying to research on about, I know with Haley it is possible as her birthday is right before the flower festival, but I am not too sure with Maru. I think you need at least a 1000 relationship points as each heart is worth 250. A loved gift nets about 80 points, talking with them is about 10? 20? points, I kind of forgot, I think right before the flower festival, I could only get 3 hearts with her when I experimented with the idea. I could be wrong tho, maybe it could be manageable if you get really lucky with the bulletin board quests and have only maru at least two times?
@@indiemastersI know Haley is possible because of her birthday, but she won't be getting favorite gifts. Maru's favorite gifts are available from at least week 2, and liked gifts such as quartz or copper bars are available in week 1. So I'm thinking it might be possible? Especially if you get some gold-starred cauliflower for her. Those stars can make a real difference.
@@indiemasters I'm doing the math, based on the wiki, and it seems possible. You would have to speak to her every single day, and gift her twice every week, and all but two gifts must be loved gifts. Also when speaking to her it's important she not be in the middle of a special animation. You only get half credit for those talks.
@@Marialla. hmmmm interesting! A speed run of taking all romanceable NPCs to the flower festival would be an interesting idea to do actually! Not only Maru... I guess it is time to bring out the ol Excel sheet hahaha BTW! I managed to finish the 3 Day challenge you told me about yesterday! I will hopefully finish editing that video soon to tell you about my findings!
You can technically level up farming from animals alone but it will take way too long to get far enough to get quality sprinklers
I actually didnt think about this, ranching would absolutely be a great passive way to earn some farming experience for sure!
I love this!
