Amazing list Simon.... I love my 08 CL63 AMG with 241Km in mileage. Looks great runs great, get great reviews from everyone who sees it, my 2011 S600 has about the same mileage and the V12 is a absolute beast.
Cheers Simon I just found your channel and I am a fan. I own a 07 S65 and I am so in love with it. If you get a memory card only go up to a 64GB. It gets a tag sluggish if the card it too large and filled with music. Enjoy your beautiful ride!!!
Love your videos:) I just got my stunning Cl 65 amg 2007 this week, and its a stunning car in every possible way in my opinion. I got it from a car Collector and with only 47.000 km. And with exclusive carbon fibre high gloss trim inside in the coupe. Feel so lucky to be able to get this rare car, and im gonna take good care of it. I believe that this car some day will go up i Value if its taken good care of with low km. Greetings from Norway ( the other side of the world:)
Clearly you know of what you speak. With my 2003 Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG, there are so many features that were so far ahead of the time that my car was like some vehicle of the future and perhaps something like George Jetson may have driven. I love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing them with us AMG lovers all over the world. Be safe, well, and happy! Bonsoir ...
ill keep watchin as long as you stick to beautiful mercs. Everyone of these car you tube fellas starts off with the mercs and moves on to stoopid lambos and other junk. So far, I like watching your videos, keep it up.
I wish I could tailor my content to every viewer, but it's a balancing act! I have an R8 which is almost a Lambo, so apologies for that - just keep watching the MB content!
I'm picking g up cl550 next week ,still have a few negative thoughts about it the looks I gave seen a s class that did not impress me (the looks I'm talking about)
I have a CL65 AMG 2006 which is a w215 generation beautiful but the w216 is one of the most beautiful cars ever crafted, amazing, yet underrated... may people see it and will never imagine the high price, they always regard a Bentley or a Maserati as a higher end car... but this car is way nicer than a Maserati and offer more technology and power than a Bentley, but unfortunately it can not offer ''Bentley name brand''... I like Bentley but this car is a serious rival to the Continental GT and makes me tear myself down in two pieces between both.
They're great cars the cl63s and 65s and even the CL 55 AMG which is very popular in the East coast and down south in Florida//what is one thing you forgot the nightmare air suspension///I have a 2004 cl600 twin turbo v12 with hydraulics system and it's a nightmare///but I'm going to hold on to this car I got to replace two rear hydraulic shocks I want to keep the ride// I do not//I don't want to lose the ride //so I'm keeping the car as long as it keeps me whichever comes first///and I get a lot of thumbs up with that car and head turns!!!
I'm wondering how this CL is holding up? Any major issues & how many kilo/miles is on the clock! Basically reliability!! Beautiful looking car for sure!
Great video. My favourite feature was #5 - night vision.I assume you commute between Sydney and Canberra frequently. How many litres/100k does the onboard computer reveal.
Hey... what’s the year model of your cl65? You mentioned 2006... just trying to ascertain which of the c216 is the best to have over a long period of time. Excuse me if this has been discussed previously. Cheers
Hi Simon, New to your channel and I’m in the market for a gently preowned CL 65. What are some of the things I need to look for and what is the maintenance costs assuming all scheduled maintenance has been done ?
Very few of these come to market so there isn’t often much choice. Maintenance is not too bad but be prepared for ABC suspension issues which are $$$ - have a MB Service centre give it an inspection to be safe. Good luck!
Wow- I did NOT know about the "mood lighting" about the interior. That IS pretty crazy for 2007. (First time I saw interior mood lighting was in the new-for-that-year 2007 S500/550....and it looked AMAZING at night.) EDIT: I also did not know about how the screen could rotate. Maybe I should finish WATCHING your video before making comments?😅 EDIT: ...And that PCMCIA slot? That's just bananas! What a cool, COOL feature! I wonder if that was an available option for the U.S. bound cars...
@@mguytv You bet- great video. And fantastic ride, my friend. Over here in the States, in Houston Texas where I live, I've only seen ONE AMG 65: It was a dark silver SL65. I flipped my wig when I realized what had just pulled up next to me at a stop light. And I've yet to see another one.
The older Ford Fairlanes in Aus had the digital speedo, cannot remember which model it was as this is going back to the 90's. I think Toyota had a digital speedo in some of their 90's models as well. So it wasn't really uncommon sorry to say.
I just got my 2007 Cl 65 amg. its stunning! Previous owner had this one in he's car collection with only 47.000 km. I feel so lucky to be able to get this rare car:) Love your videos! Greetings from Norway ( on the other side of the world:)
u call havin a LCD screen in your dashboard amazing???? BMW had HUD in the windscreen and iDrive and LED head units.. at that time, mercedes benz didnt do anything amazing... and 4.4 sec to 100 is nothin.... the new M8 COMP COUPE DID 2.8 sec to 100 and that car is over 2 tons
Also 13 years newer and 4 wheel drive , the cl is a luxury car with muscle , and bmw had to increase their engine capacity by 400cc (10%)to just pip audi , mercedes ect
A couple LCD panels one of which rotates.. displays DVDs.. and shows IR based night vision wasn't amazing? HUD of the time was terrible.. not to mention this is a 320kph car.. thats why you dare to compare it with an M8 from 2020
That twin turbo v12 is just out of this world 1000+nm in a production car this must be such a blast on the autobahn

Just bought my 2014 CL65 and its the most amazing car I have ever been owned ❤
Really? Could you please post it and if you don’t mind how much did it cost you?
@@rexvert635 it cost me here in Saudi Arabia around 25K$

I'd assumed the car was much newer, the styling hasn't aged at all
Love your videos:)

Probably one of the most underrated cars mzde

You, my friend, are a legend.
Really interesting, Many Thanks.
Peace From London. 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. I myself own a cl63. They don’t make them like that anymore.

Awesome videos...few months late to catch it...keep up the great content.
Really was ahead of its day. The only thing thats aged on it is the 5 speed suto box. Wonder hoe it could do with a modern gearbox
Thank you for sharing!

Of course even now the s coupe is better than the new continental gt tbh

I have an 06 cl500 with 63000 miles one corner sags, going to put in new o-rings should be good to go.
My favorite car!
your Mirrors are in the W220 Standart. But i think its Amazing. i have a W220 S500 build in 2001, and its the same Mirrors.
The crazy part is most that most of these interior features are available in 2003 models E/S class
actually 2008

Hi my friend, What you mean 2008?
I think you didn't understand well.
German Engineering got too luv it, especially porsche.
I'm wondering how this CL is holding up? Any major issues & how many kilo/miles is on the clock! Basically reliability!! Beautiful looking car for sure!
Sadly don't have the '65 now - but do have a newer CL500 so check out those videos!
Very nice, professional and informative video 👌🏽👍🏽

All will be revealed in a future video!

I agree everything you said. I am buying one
This is the song for you my friend. Its song for NHS and all the nurses around the world. Enjoy

Fully delimited, should be good for well over 210 mph...if you can find the tyres...
My 2004 VW Phaeton has the magnified mirror
So cool, indeed :)

Do you still have the car

Sadly no, check out my recent video to find out why…
The 0 to 100 kph on these cars are irrelevant. 100 to 200 is it's real measure of power.
Totally. It’s like a rocket ship!
think Phaeton has magnifying mirror
Maybe one day .. ;-)
I have one it’s my Lamborghini
👏🏻
Mercedes Benz the best or nothing.
CL63 does not have dual clutch transition!

Fuel consumption?
He was averaging 20L/100KM
