Are you not a regular viewer of Alpha Beta Gamer’s videos? The only reason I ask is because you said that was the part you know it was gonna be some creepy shit here. Like 90% of his videos are horror games.

SPOILER ALERT: theory as to what the fuck the monster is and why the protagonist is abandoned at the beginning
Right so the antagonist appears to be a 6’9 “Lieutenant Davies” of a division of Scotsmen killed in an attack on enemy positions. He died of blood loss and had the “highest potential” of four soldiers to be brought back by the enigmatic “second life program”.
The protagonist appears to be the doctor responsible for Davies’ resurrection. his role in the program shows to have garnered resentment from Davies subordinates, reflected by the abandonment of the doctor to the sinking ship by one man who may have been a crewman (the Englishman) and one man who may have been one of Davies’ men (the Scotsman).
Davies manifestation being almost supernatural, it could also be argued he is either a spiritual being or a figment of the doctor’s mind brought on as a physical representation of guilt
However it’s likely the ship was transporting the remainder of the unit Davies belonged to, along with those eligible for the “second life program” in order to experiment on and resurrect them. Davies was the only success, escaping captivity after the ship was attacked by a German U-Boat. The “supernatural” events brought on by the Doctor’s PTSD

This game keeps coming back unexpetedly. Plus I love the idea of a Titanic ship sinking being scary. While the movie is litteraly just dumb romance.
I mean yeah but then the ghost murder sailor comes out and you start wondering if the ship sinking is the scary part or the fact that ghost murder sailor is trying to murder you on the sinking ship.

This game is grown and improved tremendously! if you're the developer seeing this comment you're doing a great job,!I especially love the monster's new design as well as the chase sequence in the ktichen! and thank u ABG for being one of (if not) the best gaming channels on TH-cam playing all sorts of games, but my favorite being the horror genre.

Does it irk anyone else when ABG plays these games and runs through halls and rooms without surveying the scene? Like if he goes into a hall and doesn’t look into both directions first, or walks through a room without taking a quick visual scan through the room? Not that that kinda thing bothers me in any serious way, but just given the type of game this is and you don’t know what is gonna come from where, something could be right there in the direction you didn’t look into. If I was playing I wouldn’t be able to help be that cautious. 😬

My theory for the plot: it's about survivor's guilt.
The main character is a war doctor/medic suffering from survivor's guilt. The monsters all scream about "how he left them" and "how they're all dead, but he's still alive", and how "they all scream for help, but you couldn't!" In WWI, men died like droves, and this doctor was lucky in that he managed to survive his wounding, but all the men of his company died. The plot is likely a mix between being in his head and the ship actually sinking- he's plagued with survivor's guilt that manifests as intrusive thoughts and hallucinations out to get him. The zombies are a red herring, and are just his imagining what it would be like if his soldiers came back from the dead, and what they'd say to him.

there are actual threats. If you dont hide under something or lock doors before the monster comes you will die.

Seems a good game, but i really Hope that will have chases, horror games jumpscare-only are boring, they keep building tension to nothing.
Imagine being an claustrophobic person,who is trapped in a flooding titanic thing,that is in the sea,really far away from his home and the port,plus,you have some monsters following you,that will chase you till your dead,now,imagine that,make yourself feel that.
The scary games aren't for just scare you and that,you need to be in the character's skin
@@mooncandlelight3968 but in this case, there aren't monsters chasing him, just scripted chase, imagine running from a monocycle that will never catch you, very scary, a good example of game with great tension building, jumpscares and chase, is Outlast 1, it has only one scripted chase, and by the time you are playing, you don't even get to perceive that it's a scripted chase.
