Nas my favorite rapper and hes been putting out great work, but im gonna keep it real and i know niggz coming for my head on this but....i keep it real....Nas isnt rapping on a high level like AZ is anymore, i mean as it stands right now, Nas makes better albums, but AZ bar work is still sharp like hes in his prime, Nas isnt as nice lyrically as he used to be....hes still better than 95% of the rappers today.....but Nas cant rap as good as AZ in 2023, personally, i think the ship has sailed for them to make an album together, AZ would rap circles around Nas on a track together, not unless Nas hasn't been trying to be super lyrical intentionally and has been holding back....like it was hard for me to swallow how lil wayne got him on magic 3.... respectfully

I think lyrically on Doe or Die he’s at his best. Revamped production could modernize it (not trap beats or anything) that’s how ill the lyrics were.. personally I like back when they remixed his songs Your World Don’t Stop and Gimme Yours remix with Eric sermon.. those instrumentals are cold & make the lyrics hit even harder.. lastly AWOL , The Format, and Pieces of Man are very solid albums. I get N4L will put you in that - by any means necessary - zone though, that’s why it’s one of my favorites.
