Thanks for checking it out! It's actually the Rocky Mountains in Colorado's high country, but I think I would ❤️ the the Sierras based on your comment. ✌️ and thanks for stropping by! 👊

Great review as always bro. When Daniel showed that spine test in his video I was extremely surprised. Now seeing it repeat again in yours….😅. I mean it’s kinda unlikely to happen in normal use. I just cringe at the thought. The G10 is way better then the plastic for sure. Wonder if they will make em in aluminum the the auto stitch.

Thanks for stopping in brother Dave. I was very surprised at the lock release too - the funny thing is...I know how to fix it, but I'm going to wait and see if anyone wants to buy it first before I do. In short, I would ever-so-slightly grind back the X-bar lock interface enough to allow the coil spring to move the bar just about .5 to 1 mm further forward over the nub on the blade tang (it probably has 2 mm of float before the X-bar would hit the front of the pocket). I'm also tempted to just to request it be fixed by Microtech to test out their service and/or see if they consider it unjust abuse. 🤜🤛

Ooh wee, she purty, love that piece.
Haha, the bike seat mod will keep people from jumping on it and taking off.
Surprised the lock isn't tighter than that, doesn't seem like you jarred it too much for it to break it away.
I'm sure it's solid and wouldn't fail while in use, but definitely urks knowing it doesn't take much.
I bet you could modify with a stronger spring, but then it might be too hard to pull back, like a manix 2 or others I've heard people gripe about.
Doesn't make me desire them any less, that and the stitch, sexy and handsome designs at the same time.
Sounds awesome too when opening and closing, although, maybe not as good as those relaxing crunches at the end, gorgeous scenery.
Thanks for doing the dirty with these blades, so I don't have to, I appreciate all the experience shared, too bad it wasn't more of a winner for you bubba.

😂 on the bike mod...Thanks for stopping by. See my reply to @SatuDave - I may yet try to fix it or send it in if I get no takers on the purchase.
