why do they assume it'll be hard to order food from a restaurant? 100 biscuits is not that many for a kitchen that's constantly making them anyway
It would depend on their throughput and normal processing. They budget their food deliveries based on projections. If they are close to their delivery day, they would be low on product and just may not have a hundred left. She would also have to order at least a day in advance so the kitchen can set the time aside to get the order ready or bring in another person to just handle that request. It doesn't seem like much effort to an outsider, but there can be logistics involved that you wouldn't even think to consider.
Well, considering i work in a kitchen, it depends on how many they have avalible from their stock. Whatever they make for them that day they will be short for the week, but knowing Red Lobster they probably have an over supply for just this reason.
I have a friend that works at one. He says they never run out and wish they would.
I dont get why they dont just call.. Just order them, its not like the price is an issue.

It's Red Lobster, they give their biscuits out like candy and would have a revolt on their hands if they *ever* ran out. Guarantee they always have plenty of backup on hand, they're not "getting close to running out if they're close to delivery day." 1000 biscuits, maybe I'd worry concerned. 100 is nothing.
