    I didn't understand Compartment.
    Please explain.
    Does that mean user account?
    What is Compartment's equivalent in AWS?

    As you said once the first cloud instance is under stress, can we create another compute instance with all the services on the first instance using template?

    • @K21Academy
      @K21Academy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sachin Parti Yes you can either clone or take backup of boot volume and use this backup or clone of boot volume to create new instance. Same you do for block volumes attached to this instance and attach to new instance Atul

    Hi! Good video! I have done all the steps. But I don't have the possibility to "Assign public IP address" in Networking because the choice is not there. It leads to no public IP address. What might be the issue?

      jan eriksson you can assign public IP only to machines that are in Public Subnet . What is subnet type where this machine belongs ?

      @@K21Academy Thanks for quick reply Sir, you ask me why i want to run VMware on Oracle cloud just because of i want to prepare myself for vcp 6.5 exam, i haven't such a rich infra for to do the practice, and secondly when you create vsphere lab it required at least 2 server, one for vcenter and another for esxi server, vcenter server required windows OS base and esxi server required bare metal installation, so i try to make a vsphere lab for practice. i have a one question for you does Oracle Cloud support 64bit nested virtualization ?
      Thanks
      Regard.

    How to use the cost estimator in OCI? It's completely different compare to aws & azure.

    • @K21Academy
      @K21Academy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Aravind This tool offers an apples-to-apples comparison of key workloads between Oracle Cloud infrastructure and that of AWS. You will be amazed to see the results that show “Oracle is a more cost-efficient option for many high-performance applications.”
