I just got the Topdon BT200 tester today. This unit looks nice and not much more cost. I wanted a tester that did not need an app and was easy to use though.
Topdon makes pretty awesome products and BT200 is great for testing the battery but can't charge it so if you can, I would recommend returning it and getting the TB6000 if you can~
@@ChasingAdventuresCO thanks. I do have a ctek for charging. I thought about returning the topdon but I do like having a separate smaller unit just for testing.
i've been researching stuff to add to my wilderness just like yours. i haven't added anything yet but since you use auxbeam, you should upgrade to the AR series switch panel. it comes with a circle breaker that you can manually break and unbreak so your lights aren't constantly feeding off the battery when you aren't running them. it should save your battery life
Wow- it provides so much information! Nice to see it has a Bluetooth connection/ feature. Does the charger only work when plugged in a wall outlet or can you bring with you? I went with a Noco Boost Plus which is a simple battery jump starter with the alligator clamps. But I don’t believe it provides detailed info on the actual car battery. Looks cold in Washington! 😂
LOL, it was very cold although it's getting warmer now. and yes you need to have it plugged into the wall outlet so I still carry a jumper. and this charger provides so much info, I would recommend it if you need a battery charger/tester
Wouldn’t your battery show some wear naturally? I mean it’s a couple years old already. Normal battery replacement is 3-5 years, to keep it more optimum. Though some routinely 5-7 years, that’s a bit too much of a chance for me.
yes it will but not on a less then 2 year old battery. On the contrary, the battery in my Prius V is 8 years old and still has the OEM battery that came with the car and has more life left compared to this one.

@jjay718 oh. If you already have a charger, your good!!

Nice! I appreciate the info and I will look into that!

Why would you not attempt a charge in Repair Mode to attempt to recondition the battery?
it automatically goes into the repair mode but Subaru are known for using the worst batteries.
As I know it must have EFB battery cuz start/stop system just killing regular batteries.
that might be very true!!
Good day, tell me, what is the firmware? This is indicated in the application.
version 1.50.004
