I could get on-board with some review action. The charger/tender looks well made and it was neat having real time data from the tester to show you exactly what you are working with. Very cool.
Thanks for the video I purchased a Topdon Obd2 vehicle engine scanner last year for 40 dollars a all systems scanner including abs and oil reset on amazon very pleased with it
@@Burndown Yeah they make one of the best full spectrum budget friendly code readers. Some have said it's similar to Snap on or Autel. Like similar to a pro unit but it's like $600+ for the real good one by TopDon compared to like 3-4k for Snap on or Autel. I think they have a basic unit but for a good basic unit I like OBDLink. I need to get some Body control module info related to an A.C. issue on a C6 and I don't have access to a reader that will pull that DATA. TipDon makes great stuff from what I hear.

Caught you again on this drop. Usually when you see a lower case m next to the ohm sign, it means millie ohm and upper case M means mega ohm. That's what I was taught in my electronics class for automotive
Current coupon an Amazon has this at like 50 bucks so i got mine today, would have loved to see you try the repair cycle on the trailer battery. The main reason I chose this was because of reviews saying how it brings dead batteries back
Ill have to give it a shot and see if it helps it. Just running the normal cycle seemed to bring it up but not well enough that the tester said it was ok.
I would have never bought this thing if I knew it would only charge sort of dead batteries. If its stone dead it wont charge it.Thank God my 10 year old $20 Genious charger maintainer actually charged my stone dead Jeep.
It worked well for me. I have had good luck with the products they make. The TB6000 is the charger I use now and I have charged batteries that are at 9 volts all the way back to 100.
I guess if you were really trying to test it you could charge a battery with a different charger and test and drain it down again and charge with that one and test
I have a normal battery charger from HF I could probably put it up against. I was more trying to see if it did what it was claiming to do vs is it better then something else really. Thats a good idea tho. Maybe ill revisit it with a quick video at some point when I update how its working.
@@Burndown well you figure if it's discharged hard twice it should be worse the second time at best the same if the charger isn't doing any desulfation or repairing then maybe it will be better or the same
Ill have to try to repair it and see. I still have this and use it but now I have the new Charger/Tester by TopDon and it works awesome. The 8000 still doing fine as well.
I could get on-board with some review action. The charger/tender looks well made and it was neat having real time data from the tester to show you exactly what you are working with. Very cool.
Yeah it worked out good that I had it on board to try out.

Do you know if it does like body control codes like A/C codes? What kind of car did you use it on?
Ill have to look into all the stuff they make. I didn't know they made a code reader. Thats pretty cool!

if you look at the TT Topdon store (not the regular Topdon store that seems to be for consumers) there are a couple load testers
