Hey huge tip for anyone using these shocks, get a set of Traxxas 1765 silicone diaphragms. The white ones that come in the shock tend to leak and don't give good rebound after awhile, the Traxxas ones are much better
Tick, fill the shocks to the top with fluid. Hold the shock 3/4 or 1/2 (push the rod in) compressed as you put the top on. It will make it have "droop" or "sag" in the suspension and help lower the center of gravity. Filling it with less fluid does not help you. It actually hurts with an external spring shock. You get air in there and it can make it unpredictable at the wrong time. That is why it felt bouncy. great vid though man. I've been eye balling those shocks but I think I'm going to go with Lizard or RCLion internal spring shocks.
How I bleed team losi and associated shocks racing off coarse in Denver. 1. Remove cap, bottom spring retainer and spring. Leave the bottom plastic bolt mount threaded all way on. 2. Fill shock almost to top.3.slowy move piston shaft up and down several times while spinning till you see no more air bubbles rising up. Take time at this. 4. Thread cap on but not tight at all while holding shock still upright slowly push shaft in while fluid escapes cap when shaft all way up tighten your cap🤜
Man I need to print this out!! LOL Thanks for the comment and help man. I just got a new set of shocks I am trying to bleed and they are deoving me nuts!!! Thanks again and I will be looking back on this comment 😀
shocks are a little tricky. l run dessert lizards. comes with all kinds of springs and plungers to set up all kinds of ways. check out some youtube vids on them. dont cost thar much more than the injoras. they all so look sweet. on shocks when add oil to them you have to bleed them or they will be hard to compress. desert lizards come with 4 plungers that has 1 hole or 2 or 3 holes and 4 holes were you can adjust your compression and rebound speed
Man that sounds like it's more up my alley! Thanks for the comment and the view, I will be in the market for some. Just gotta figure out the travel or overall length....Maybe 90s or should I go more? Thanks
@@lukenorman1475 I have 110 desert lizards on my 10ii with a droop setup. maybe 10 mm of shock shaft sticking out at ride height, with the right setup long shocks still work.
Dude it cannot be that big of a difference, i was thinking 120s lol. But I've got the desert lizards on there now. So far so good, but I have had a few issues with then sticking.
I believe so Nick, it just depends on the oil you choose to use and what tension of spring. But they are very similar to the ones in the traxxis I've got.
Yeah I ordered the injoras and initial impressions were good. But the design is not. Can't bleed them consistently and then they just don't work very well. If you look at the pistons while they are apart the quality is pretty poor in this part which is likely why the dampening action is not very effective. I'll be returning mine as well.
Well glad we agreed man, I have recently went with some desert lizards for a little more $ and man, it makes a world of difference!! Please check the video, I go through some setup as well👊
These shocks are hot garbage but not because they are built or designed badly simply because the included springs are waaaaay too stiff and thats the soft ones! They include even stiffer springs as some kind of extra joke. Unbelievable that some muppet specced such stiff springs with these they have potential the build is otherwise good.
@@arkansasrcnewbie LOL... no offense but after almost two years of posting things related to RC you should have picked something up🙄....and stop buying Garbage on AMZ ...it wont make you happy! 😎

Check for air being trapped in the shock. Remove the cap, compress the shock and look for air bubbles
👍Yes sir, I've got a crawler meetup this weekend, hopefully I can get them working even better after checking for bubbles. Thanks Bill

@@arkansasrcnewbie don't go any bigger than 90mm you're already dealing with a top heavy rig. You wanna keep it as low as possible

Fun videos, thank you for sharing friends😁👍🤝
Thank you for watching, appreciate you.
installed these and ran my truck for me 2 hours in total, front right shaft pulled out on me last night POS. and very stiff
That's a bummer man, I hate to experience a bad shock. You should look at the injora shocks I just installed 😉
Soft springs and thicker oil ! Lol
You got it brother! 🤣 I'm learning!!!
is that shock is Fitted to my 1/10 D90 Gelande II Land rover?
Hey brother, it may be a little too big. I would look at the Desert Lizards
Cool video! Sucks it was kind of a fail but learn and go!
Thanks man, it was a bummer for sure but like you said. I think I learned a little 🤔 lol
great nuration but you need to sort the focusing out
👌
What happens if you put 100 mm on? I'm on the same conundrum on my 86100...

Will crawler shock work for racing and stuff like that

😂😂 Well said man, they do SUCK!
Really??? You dont have the slightest idea about filling shocks, don't you?😅 And then, of course, its the shocks fault....🙄
I thought the same moaning they don't bottom out 😅
Did you happen to read the channels name? Not really, I'm learning man

I wrote a comment telling him the same....I get canceled..every time!!!!
Bro you have way too much air still in the shock. Thats not how you oil shocks. Hit me up on messenger and I'll help you.
Thanks Luke, lol 😆 Fidured I was doing something wrong. Maybe some Desert Lizards.....Imma hit you up for sure! Thanks
How they are supposed to be filled? I'm trying different way but none of them work 🤷🏻♂️
No Wolfman Dyno? WTF! I'm disappointed too! 🦥
🤣🤣🤣NOT THAT SCIENTIFIC 😉
