Amritsar will be much colder. Spending just over 24 hrs in each city is too taxing. To see India takes at least a year. You have to allow time to destress from the distances travelled and the varying temperatures.
Your videos are outstanding. I was in India for 7 months about 35 ish years ago and loved The Golden Temple, I agree that taking a week off to just be and not even make a blog is a good idea.
We live in India and previously I travelled back and forth for 20 years.... it sounds like Janine has dehydration and needs to drink more rehydrate. Pure water with lemon, salt and sugar should help her. Any wallah will sell salt and sweet lemon drink.... chugg it down liberally to feel better....... i have had it and its miserable. Great video once again. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I totally understand how physically and mentally tiring it can be after traveling for months in an unfamiliar land (the constant hustle and bustle, noise and chaos) riding a rickshaw. It drains you. Golden temple @Amritsar may be the one place you could visit, but again it will be very busy place. However my advice would be to go to a place that offers some natural beauty, peace and serenity. Such places in the north or north east may be quite cold at this time. Perhaps early April may have be better. If at all possible you may just try Andaman islands or Lakshadweep islands. The tranquil surroundings may help in recharging you. God bless and take care.
I always following your journey through your videos every day when I get up first thing I am looking for your new video... what I love and likes about Liam and Janine is you guys traveling more than any Indian.. and both of you didn't utter single bad thing or bad experience while travelling it's such a positive image of India you are trying to show for other travellers it makes you such a wonderful couple , and good human being... wish you good luck for your journey
The Golden Temple and Amritsar would make an awesome vlog 💯😁 hope you're both feeling well. Could you perhaps get someone to fit clear flexible plastic doors/tarp to protect Janine from the cold in the back?
Some thoughts you might like to consider. Ive spent a good part of my working life travelling. I took a bike with me when going to meetings, stayed in youth hostels (my funding was meagre) and have been to a great many places in the world - China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, all over the US and Canada and Europe - many places many times (eg Japan about 7 times). Ive not been to India, may yet do so (im in my 70s). What did I learn ? That people are the same the world over - they are always kind and welcoming. But there comes a time when there is nothing more to learn from travel. You are in a strange situation because there are two of you - travel alone is different from travel in a couple. But there are things to learn from travel and things to learn at home. When you travel all the time you get friends all over the world - but when you stop you find they are not there - they are all over the world, not at home. People need local connections as well as global - without them there is no continuity in life. While travelling all around you are people with local connection but you dont have any. Its a part missing from your lives. And has Janine not had thoughts of raising children and a home ? Most women do - those are the things that give life meaning - they give it continuity. I would suggest you need balance - maybe take a travel break sometimes. Your videos are great and I love them, you have done a fantastic thing for the world creating them - but there is the missing element, the continuity. Take some time to ponder and get things into some kind of balance. Also @Janine - does Liam take his hat off in bed ?????? Have fun, have happiness tend to the missing parts of your life.
With vertigo/dizziness, the other thing besides neck alignment is that the crystals in your inner ear can sometimes dislodge and come out of the place they belong and get into the canal. This especially happens with lots of bouncing and odd positions your head gets in while traveling. My first time to have it was being on a cruise in very rough weather. Google positional dizziness. There are ways to get the crystals to go back into their place. Good luck Janine.
Yes, I have had that as well. I got it after a flight. The symptoms were the same as Janine. Absolutely horrible I could not even move my hands to drink water without feeling nauseous. I worry for you Janine, please look after your health, I really think you should come back to the UK and get some rest.
Vrindavan Vrindavan Vrindavan Vrindavan is the place which has to be your next stop. Just 4 hours away from Jaipur. Take rest and spend few days there. Who knows it may change your life forever. Not just physical and mental relaxation, but you may also find spiritual bliss over there, which pure souls like you very well deserve. May God bless you.
Those cute 🐕🐕🐕 didn't want Janine & Liam to leave. Another amazing vlog of the Indian adventures of Janine & Liam and love 🥰 it. Have a good Sunday and week ahead. Love 💞 Janine & ❤ Liam.
Take care of yourself, guys. India is not easy to travel. You soldiered through it for many months. I grew up in India and dont think i could have matched your performance.
Another fantastic video! Thanks guys. I suggest that you store Pete again and go to a Goa retreat for a week or two. Better still, an Ayurvedic Panchakarma retreat for a full cleanse and pampering 🙏💜
Guys you need to do what you feel is best but your health must come first. Thoroughly enjoyed this epic journey and you are definitely due some rest. Hasn't Pete done well though?! 😊 xx
Thank you for showing us beautiful India and how beautiful, kind and generous the people of India are. You guys have been overwhelmingly busy for so long, i am not surprised Janine is exhausted! X
Go to Vrindavan, holiest city in India, birthplace of Lord Krishna & just next to Agra where you'll catch the Taj Mahal... it's only 4 hours from Jaipur.... You'll get a huge spiritual boost in Krishna’s land...thanks for sharing your ongoing adventures... Namas te 💕🙏🏻💕
You have both done so well travelling in a tuk tuk. Liam all squashed in front and having the stress of driving and Janinne in the back in uncomfortable seat, freezing with wind and stressing. As in other videos we've seen you Jannine unwell with chest infections, I know how that feels as I have a lung condition. Getting chills while driving is what will start it off. The smartest of people know when to give in. At least find the next quiet village or town and stay for a week and rest up then you might feel able enough to carry on a bit further without missing anything although I don't know if its going to colder where you are. Sorry for the unsolicited advice jannie but I'm a mum and a gran and its my job to worry about people. Stay well x
I'm almost speechless; what you two have achieved and the journey you have shared it nothing short of epic. I feel quite emotional hearing Janine is beginning to struggle, as I have no idea how she has coped with the enormity of the day in, day out demands. The sheer vibrancy, noise, and chaos would do me in. Thank you so much for being the best travel guides ever. If I were you, I would make sure you are well-rested before you continue to Amritsar. Blessings to you both _/\_
Love this video. All the sights, and food, but your honesty about your health too. I know Janine suffers in cold weather, so maybe you should try a few more rest days. Maybe some Ayurvedic medicine or ginger shots would help, or a spa or yoga break. Would you consider giving Pete a break and travelling on by train or bus? I would want to try to make to it Amritsar, but not at the sake of your health. It’s a shame you didn’t make in inside the Amber Fort. It is beautiful. I went when it was quiet, so got to see it in all its glory. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I hope Janine feels better soon. Stay safe and happy travels xx
I would have to say that's its understandable to get a little tired and exhausted from travelling, however I would carry on for one last push before coming back. I have loved sharing your experiences with you if only little slices, Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Kudos to you both for traveling so many miles in auto rickshaw. amazing journey and thank you for bringing your travel to us. it can take a toll but your energy was at the top. again thank you
I loved Pushkar on my two visits to the camel fair over 20 years ago! Both times I was in Jaipur when I got overwhelmed and needed a day to just chill in a quiet place by a pool. You guys have been full on, I would take a few days rest somewhere quiet and peaceful before heading off on another long journey.
Find a nice quiet town and chill out for a week, Morning yoga, short walks around lovely countryside and evenings chatting to the locals is my recommendation. Britain is particularly cold and damp at the moment so wait a while before jumping on a plane. I hope Janine feels better soon and you can do that last temple.
These adventures have been fascinating and very enjoyable, but Janine needed a blanket and warmer clothes in the rickshaw, didn't it have side coverings to help with the cold? She looked washed out, bless her. Knowing how cold it is, you both needed some warmer clothes. Another great video guys. As for pushing on, maybe think of a more comfortable mode of transport if you're going much further.
That was pretty intense. Too many people all the time and in traffic. India will get to you that way for sure. Perhaps . . . just maybe if you could take a week off somewhere quiet and serene🙏 (any ashrams nearby?) You may feel like carrying on?💪🌞
Problem is it’s still winter here and they won’t stop they will continue be travelling here it’s better they stop and rest there stop in one place for a whole month by the sea they can still do their blog without all the travelling
Can I please suggest Janine gets checked out by a doctor. The symptoms she mentioned could be high blood pressure - had them myself had no clue and thought I was suffering from vertigo. She's young and healthy so nothing to worry about but best not to ignore such things.
What about getting some clear plastic sides fitted so It's at least a little warmer. What are You going to do with the rickshaw? Your destination needs to be towards somewhere he can be shipped home to uk, donated or stored? Side will also help protect it when stored or shipped. (If shipping consider leaving a box of spare parts to keep it running inside when shipped).
You've had an amazing journey, Thank you for taking us along with you. Enjoy my Sunday morning coffee watching your videos BUT now is the time to think about heading home to the UK and Morgan...xx
As a Brit who has travelled overland from Napal to the tip of India and back up to Mumbai using public transport, I know exactly what you've experienced being 'tourists' in India. I take my hat off to you both. It isn't easy. I visited many of the same places as you & know what you haven't filmed. Much love to you both ❤
You two are having such an amazing trip. The first time I went to Pushkar I loved it and it wasn’t busy but the second time it was heaving. Incredible India eh 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Pushkar lake is the starting point for where the entire world was created! The lake was set on fire and then the fire spread outwards and the earth appeared!!That's the story I was told by a babu when I was there. I love Pushkar and other sacred towns in India, they are super interesting imho. Happy Travels
I’m sure you guys are exhausted. I’m exhausted for you. I can’t imagine how hard it is in the rickshaw for so long and a different bed almost every night. You guys should possibly try and book in to somewhere nice with a pool for a few days, or come back to the uk and have a proper break. You’ve achieved something absolutely incredible and drove the full length of India ! You guys need to write a book one day ❤
Another beautiful video. Janine, if it is motion-sickness you will probably feel very tired and perhaps yawn more. Please consider getting some ginger to chew on. But I think yours and Liam's pace is way too hectic, and you need a week off at some kind of tranquil retreat maybe. Just try being somewhere for a few days rather than rushing to the next place.
We are all so proud of you both. You have brought your unique spice with you and sprinkled us with its magic. Hugs and hope Janine will be ok for the last leg of this incredible journey. 🍀🍀💚💚🇮🇪🇮🇪😺😺🍀🍀
Wonderful seeing you guys travelling India, something we have always wanted to do. Please do not quit Janine we love your videos. You guys are amazing. Love you tons.
Listen to your body. Don’t push beyond the limit. It’s fine to end the auto trip here. Take a break may be in Kerala or Goa where the weather now is good. Then make your plans.
Janine, I am actually surprised you guys could do it for so long. And I am an Indian myself. That says a lot. Well, health first. You do deserve to rest. You have had some crazy months of traveling, now time to give your body some well deserved attention. Take a break. Have a nice one. Best wishes for everything you do!
Great video! Sorry to hear that you are not feeling great Janine. We left Jaipur 4 days ago and flew to Chennai. After a few days in Chennai, we moved on to Mahabalipuram a few hours down the coast and will then move on to Pondicherry. We have wanted to cost Pondicherry ever since we saw your video! We owe our trip to India to you guys, so thank you again for all your hard work in showing people India and your way of life ❤
Driving and travelling through such long distances is a tough business. It's a super effort for you two to take up such an amazing idea on 'India on a Tuk Tuk' - as you call it. Just marvelous. Had you scheduled for intermediate stays of 3/4 days in hotels for rest things wouldn't have been so tough. Anyway, to tour so many locations at one go, from South to North India on a Tuk Tuk is really really challenging. You and Jessica are really tough enough to endure it. Great effort.
Hey! We have longer in each stop than people would believe, as we have to edit etc. It's just as you say, riding in a rickshaw for long periods is tiring
My favourite places to stay when I was in northern India years ago were Heritage Hotels which looked a bit like your palace. They were forts owned by maharajas and were going to rack and ruin until the government gave grants to get them looked after and turned into hotels with all the amazing old traditional furnishings and decorations. Lovely to see Jantar Mantar again, such an amazing place. Good luck on your further travels north. What an awesome experience you're having.
I honestly don't know how you've held up for so long. This has been a breakneck challenge through India, and I sincerely hope you find a place to stay put for a couple of weeks. You MUST slow your roll and take care of yourselves. ❤
Another brilliant video! Sorry to hear about Janine’s motion sickness, suggest warmer cloths when travelling in the rickshaw eg hat, gloves, earmuffs and taking a couple of travel sickness tablets xx
What another epic vlog guys, such a shame that Janine is feeling under the weather. Can’t wait for next week and to hear what your future plan are 👏🏻👏🏻😀
Your videos from India have been amazing guys! You should be proud of your achievements. 😊 Must be hard Liam having to concentrate so much when driving and can't be easy for you sitting in the back Janine. Maybe a well deserved chill out time is what's needed. Take care of yourselves. ❤
Well Pete / Morgan + 2 I'm thinking that the constant moving around at brek nec speed is taking its toll! The tuc tuc has performed heroics when ya think what it has been through & god knows how old it is !! 🤔 none of us can keep up the pace in the fast lane forever as eventually things do arise health wise !! Stay safe and well 🙏 🎉
Well done for getting this far on the Toktok. Your journey to Delhi or even Amritsar should be easier because of the high ways (NH) apart from the cold. Here in the UK we are expecting a ❄️ Snow Bomb (just check the weather). So you may want to stay a bit longer in India (may be just Amritsar). I do suggest that you do take a break by coming back and then plan the Himalaya 🏔journey and around towards Kolkata. I don't think you should take the TokTok into the mountains. There are plenty rental vechiles available (let me know if you are interested), and train routes. Regarding Amritsar, you will able to get a Air India flight back to the UK directly if needed. The Golden Temple and it's surrounding is magical. You could just spend your time day or night sitting and re-energiseing. Going into the actual Golden Temple itself has long queues (day/night). Hope to find out what are your next plans. Thanks for the videos 👍
Sorry to hear that Janine is feeling ill.. perhaps your body is telling you something.. only you can decide what’s best.. I’ve loved the whole trip and it’s been so interesting.. thank you both so much.. but you’re health is important xx love to you both and keep safe
Dear Janine and Liam, another beautiful city and a beautiful experience. Thanks for sharing, or should I say, taking us along!! If you have the visa, then maybe you should fly to a warmer place 28:41 in India, rest a couple of weeks, and then fly back to continue your journey. Check the vertigo situation as well, please, dear Janine. If your visa is up, then you can go back and return. I thought mid-Feb. is ideal weather to travel Varanasi, etc. Check with locals... we love your vlogs, but we love you more! Your health comes first.. take care
sometimes you just need to slow down and stop travelling. My husband and I sail during May to October with our three dogs. Short hops upping anchor everyday can be very tiring as you are always a bit wary how the anchor holds for the first 24 hour anyway. Last year was a nightmare mechanically for us so I can appreciate the extra stress of continual mechanical failure. If the weather is fair and the location beautiful we have started to just chill and relax in one spot for a while before moving on. Last year was so horrendous at times that are definition of happiness is " if it"s not s@%t we're happy" . We are hoping to live aboard full time and maybe start vloging. You two are such beautiful souls

That's very good to know thank you, will check it out
Yes, I have had that as well. I got it after a flight. The symptoms were the same as Janine. Absolutely horrible I could not even move my hands to drink water without feeling nauseous. I worry for you Janine, please look after your health, I really think you should come back to the UK and get some rest.
Vrindavan
Vrindavan
Vrindavan
Vrindavan is the place which has to be your next stop.
Thanks so much! 😊 you too mate
100% agree. Just stretch yourself one last bit and make it to Vrindavan, and take a rest for say 15 days there. Your life may completely change.
Health above all. Give yourselves a few days to rest, this way, the last stretch will be comfortable and enjoyable. You guys are the best!!
You guys haven't had any down time.
The Camino was exhausting in its own right.
Much love peeps ❤❤
Stay well x
Its all good advice thank you 😊
I'm almost speechless; what you two have achieved and the journey you have shared it nothing short of epic.
Beautiful scenery, beautiful people and food that looks so yummy. Thanks guys and take care ❤
Love all the music 🎵 you use in your travels, keep safe &enjoy 🏴
These adventures have been fascinating and very enjoyable, but Janine needed a blanket and warmer clothes in the rickshaw, didn't it have side coverings to help with the cold? She looked washed out, bless her. Knowing how cold it is, you both needed some warmer clothes. Another great video guys. As for pushing on, maybe think of a more comfortable mode of transport if you're going much further.
That was pretty intense. Too many people all the time and in traffic. India will get to you that way for sure.
Perhaps . . . just maybe if you could take a week off somewhere quiet and serene🙏 (any ashrams nearby?) You may feel like carrying on?💪🌞
Great vlog great journey sounds like it's time to put Pete to bed and come home to recuperate such a great journey but health comes first
Problem is it’s still winter here and they won’t stop they will continue be travelling here it’s better they stop and rest there stop in one place for a whole month by the sea they can still do their blog without all the travelling
As long as you two are happy to go for it, go for it 😊 ✨️ I'll be watching and cheering you on whatever you do, namaslay 😅 xxx
Can I please suggest Janine gets checked out by a doctor. The symptoms she mentioned could be high blood pressure - had them myself had no clue and thought I was suffering from vertigo. She's young and healthy so nothing to worry about but best not to ignore such things.
Janine is on the other end of the scale, she gets low blood pressure if anything
Good way to see travel by Auto & good information
Think you should go for it guys, but at a slower pace, looked like fab crazy cities very entertaining, but nice to find some peace afterwards.
Absolutely beautiful series.. thank you for sharing and best wishes always! Long live Pete 💚
What about getting some clear plastic sides fitted so
It's at least a little warmer.
Much love to you both ❤
🙏🇮🇳
Another beautiful video. Stay well and 🙏 for your next adventure ✨️.
We are all so proud of you both. You have brought your unique spice with you and sprinkled us with its magic. Hugs and hope Janine will be ok for the last leg of this incredible journey. 🍀🍀💚💚🇮🇪🇮🇪😺😺🍀🍀
We indian love you alot...I continously watch your video's, u both r superb... pls stay in india...plss 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Have a pause, practice your yoga, meditate, rest, sit, be still, if you can. Then, see what unfolds. Another beautiful video, thank you.
Amritsar means eternal in Sanskrit.
It ought to be the last port of call for HMS Pete.
Thanks for the tour this far
Take care and God bless.
Wonderful seeing you guys travelling India, something we have always wanted to do. Please do not quit Janine we love your videos. You guys are amazing. Love you tons.
Thank you so much 😀
Yes yes, please go to Amritsar, it’s breathtaking, you will love it , and won’t regret it ….. can’t wait to watch xx
Listen to your body. Don’t push beyond the limit. It’s fine to end the auto trip here. Take a break may be in Kerala or Goa where the weather now is good. Then make your plans.
Take care and rest - you have come so far and its essential to stay well. Rest and enjoy what ever is left to visit. Take care friends
Thank you so much!
It's hard and harsh environment you have done well to travel as much as u have.❤
don't quit guys . take rest and time
Love the honesty of your vlogs , hope your both ok and would love to see you guys complete the journey to Punjab as you’ve come such a long way
Have some time for yourself alone. Its quite apparent guys. You deserve it. Love you guys 🎉
We owe our trip to India to you guys, so thank you again for all your hard work in showing people India and your way of life ❤
What a trip you had! Love those places 😍
Ive loved the India travels but im looking forward to seeing a different country or experience that you encounter on you're journey. 💚
Please guys try to show ladakh and kashmir to your international audience if possible.❤🎉
Thanks Guy's... Perhaps it's time for a rest of a week or so. Take Care of Yourselves.
Nice with which camera u shoot
