Normally I would be sat on my sofa with Nigel, my husband on a Sunday morning watching your latest adventures. But today I am on my own watching as very sadly and suddenly Nigel passed away last weekend on the 17th, he was only 57. No illness, no symptoms and has left me and our 2 adult children, family and friends absolutely devastated. It brings me comfort watching you live our dream of travelling; we had so many plans to travel and even talked about buying a van. I am determined to visit all the places we talked about as a tribute to Nigel. Much love to you two and happy travelling. I will be watching every week. Andrea xxxx
Hey, these are tuff times. Time will help you heal, hope you get to live out his dreams and yours, may he rest in peace, or as we believe find a path to liberation.
Hi Andrea, reading your message filled us with great sadness of your loss. You sound like a really switched on person and living your life of adventure in his memory is a great tribute to him. We will raise a glass to Nigel tonight. Much love xx
My father died 28 years ago and had to cremate in chennai.. Its my dream and wish to do an annual ritual in the banks of ganges so that he can reach moksha and avoid reincarnation.. I have been settled in abroad for almost 14 years.. Seeing your video, i really wish i can do this ritual at the soonest possible..
I don't believe myself but I am born in Preists family and my Late Dad was firm believer. I am missing annual ritual, my mom is taking care so in 2022, I took my Mom did all the three places 1. Triveni Sangam, 2. The main Prayag Raj, also seen Bodh Gaya 3. Varanasi. Please do it, Varanasi is full of Telugu and Tamil communities just hire a cab and you can do all three in 4 days. You can actually skip Triveni Sangam, the rituals are done in a tent and it is not mandatory, they aren't good, there is no good sanitation facilities, just hire a boat go to Triveni Sangamam point dip in there pray for your dad and leave the place, there is beautiful temple on other side of the bank do not miss it and than head straight to Prayag, this is most important than Varanasi. This is a must, a lot to see and also Bodh Gaya so plan here well and then head back to Varanasi you can spend a lot of tiime there.
Fab to see you visiting places I travelled to many years ago. I remember when I was in Varanasi we didn't go too close to the place the bodies were burnt to be respectful. Instead, we went on a boat trip and set leaves adrift to float with candles on the Ganges. The evening ceremony at the ghats was magical and coincided with a thunderstorm with lightning in the background. So atmospheric. I also got to see that amazing stupa at Sarnarth. What an amazing trip you've had. It will be hard to adjust coming home to the UK for sure. Thanks for sharing your Indian adventure with us.
Ive heard that Death is so in your face in Varanasi that it just reinforces so hard that death is a part of life. It can be so taboo but really, we are all just made up of the elements, no matter what religion you believe in. Its symbolic of the earthly and temporary human body going back to the elements of mother Earth that gave us life in the first place. Varanasi gets a lot of flak sometimes because its the City of Death, but really, Death is just a part of life. A beautiful part of life, that is eternal and inevitable. Thank you. This video was quite emotional for me. My brother left the UK many years ago. He married an Indian girl, they lived in Mumbai. He died there age 59. His widow brought his ashes to his home town where they were scattered in the village where he played as a little boy. We were quite surprised that they were large pieces of bone, not ashes. I am so full of admiration for you both, to travel while you are still young. Make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. Lots of love. ilona xxx
Thank you so much for bringing india to me ! Always wanted to travel there but major car crash has left me disabled. So thank you again for invitong us along ❤
We have to remember that the body is already empty when it is cremated. It wasn’t that long ago in the U.K. that bodies were kept at home for neighbors to pass their respects with the coffin open. Death is our only certainty ❤❤❤
Yes I remember my grand mother telling me this. Bodies would be prepared and then taken home for viewings for the last goodbyes. Seems so much human to do this and normalises death and bodies rather than this fear and a taboo subject That way had far more meaning than the practices of today. Thank you for reminding us of those practices that many have forgotten 🙏🏼
I feel so fortunate that I came across your channel about a year ago. I love everything you both do. I have been around the world, but never have seen India as you have. After watching your 9 months in India I feel like I have seen everything . Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most wonderful experience ❤️ .
Spiritual seekers, friendly travellers, excellent cinematographers, wonderful narrators, brilliant editors.... In a nutshell, you are one of the best travel vloggers.....much success is ahead of you.
🤣🤣🤣 What kind of "spiritual seekers" lies about babies, pregnant woman, snake bite victims sank in the Ganga as a practice ? 🤣🤣🤣 What kind of idiot believes such rubbish ? the bigoted kind seeking confirmation bias. That's who. What stops criminals from dumping bodies of their victims into the Ganga ? 😂 They actually had the gall to call the crematorium as a "public burning". As if "public" is invited to watch grief of survivors.😂 Have you ever seen a bigot call a graveyard as a "Public graveyard" ?
A wonderful vlog and one that I’m sure will be remembered by all that have watched for a very long time. Sad that your time in India is coming to an end, but what a journey your have taken everyone on. Just fantastic 💛
My mum died on Thursday and watching this makes me wish we could do something similar. I don’t particularly want to watch her actively be cremated but something outside, in nature, where she would be returned to nature, would feel so peaceful, I think. The way we do it here is just so “conveyor belt” and impersonal.
In Hinduism we believe only one thing is constant which is death. Death is the only truth of life. Trying to improve ourselves with spirituality so that after death our soul should go to God and we will be able to break the life and death cycle. As a human being it is the aim of all hindu to attain moksha. So we can be free from rebirth on the earth.
So insightful and thank you Liam and Janine for taking us throughout India and the wonderful spiritual way of life they lead. Liam I’m hoping you feel stronger soon
Thank you for sharing India with us 🙏🏼 through your eyes and hearts. That was a very nice and meditative summary at the end. By the way, if you found the healthy way death is regarded in India peaceful perhaps one day you will find yourselves celebrating the day of the dead in Mexico (if you havn’t already). All best wishes for your next adventure, wherever it takes you ❤
Thank you janine and Liam for a great video again , I’ve really loved India with you , such beautiful and happy people . Safe journey home to the uk xx
Imagine the potential of that new meditation building full up with people meditating for peace! India is a very special place, thank you for sharing your adventures. Much love 💙🙏💙 xx
Bless you both. I hope Liam has fully recovered. Another personal and intimate look into what makes India tick. I just loved the video quality and the content. I watch your channel on Sunday nights here in Australia. Many thanks.
Thank you so much Liam and Janine.Ive loved your Indian adventure. Its really opened my eyes to what an amazing place and the most lovely people.Take care 🥰 XX
Thank you, thank you a thousand times. Wonderful place to end your Indian adventure (for now!). Several times during this video I felt deeply emotional. The cremation ceremonies seem perfect, taking in the natural elements. That it is the family & friends of the deceased taking care of their last earthly journey feels precious. The clip of the 'Goat in a coat' made me chuckle, (yeah it was a tshirt, but that doesn't rhyme)😂. Have so enjoyed each & every Indian video. Thank you for bringing such fabulous content into my home every Sunday. Safe travels back 🙏
I have to say a great big thank you for the journey round Indea , I have luvd every single bit of it. You have taken me places I would have never seen in my life. The trip has been extra special for me as my late father spent time on Indea with the navy near end of the war, he always spoke fondly of the people and you have let me see places he used to talk about. Thank you, peace ✌️ and luv 💌 from Scotland 🙏
All I can say is absolutely brilliant… loved all your series on India 🇮🇳 just may be and if they looking at this is for documentary company picks it up because you both deserve it. Your coverage was so beautifully put. Well done. ❤ x
If u don't have any knowledge about hindu religion so read why we hindus burn death bodies ok not like u 🤭 u peoples take land and put death bodies in land it's too much against our mother nature so stop desrespect others nonsense shit 😂
Thank you for all of the beautiful videos 💖 has definitely given me a better perspective on the country of India, the real India rather than what Americans will have me believe. When I found your channel a while back it took me out of a very dark place. As a recent devotee of Hindu faith I send my sincere blessings to you both. You are beautiful inspiring people. Made me smile many times 🥰I hope to visit these places someday. ❤
I can’t begin to tell you how I have enjoyed your Indian adventure. It’s been amazing and so educational. Thank you so much and I’m looking forward to what happens next. Good luck and good health. ❤️
It depends what you class as 'much'. They seems to have an abundance of love, humanity, spirituality and warmth from what I could gather here. what more do you need? I got such great vibes from this video and have massive respect for the Indian culture. Namaste!
Your opinion that people of India haven’t got much is highly misplaced. India has rich people, poor people and everything in between. They are demanding they are desperate and everything in between. Indian is not a basket case it has very robust economy,
@@namalum420 I understand there is rich parts of India as well. As poor parts but I haven't seen any rich parts on their videos . But my main point is when people haven't got much. They're happy when people have got all sorts. They seem to be not happy. It is exactly the same here in the UK. Poor people will help you rich people want money.🇬🇧
a very special episode .i travelled to Varanasi in 2013 and found great comfort there ,a very interesting and spiritual place . thank you for always giving us such wonderful videos , your photography and editing are just beyond amazing . Safe travels kind regards Greta
Varanasi have given me extra terrestrial feelings and experiences. I am surely convinced with existence of other dimensions and parallel realities.. in my three times of Being there. Enjoy the bliss of our tiny momentary specs.

What a fantastic adventure of culture you have both experienced in India. The Indian people seem sincere and lovely. I have loved watching you on this adventure and look forward to what you do next. Have a safe trip home guys 😊
Amazing video guys and an amazing series. This is so joyful to watch, thank you for bringing the hidden and not so hidden India to us. Bless you both as you leave India and travel home. ❤️AJandTheBs x
HEY! I hope you remember that you were in Bandhavgarh national forest and a school trip came across you in the resting point in the jungle and you took pictures with the children, i was one of the many that came to talk to you in that school trip and it has been quite a journey for you! i have been following your trips on youtube and from meeting you to seeing you leave India tears me up a little, hope you had a great time here and enjoyed our hospitality With regards Shourya Hiwase
Shouryah, seeing Liam and Janine travel through your beautiful country has been an absolute privilege. India is a big place! Has following the channel made you want to see some different parts/regions of India? If so, I'd love to hear where and why?
@@TheMinimalistTherapist YES! I'd never even thought about visiting Varanasi until Liam and Jainine and now i plan to go there after im done with my exams. Since varanasi is a holy place i am very attracted to it and in my religion it is mandatory to go there atleast once

Watched before as you say like in a documentary, but being there must’ve been such a touching & spiritual feeling right in the midst of end of life , have loved all your travels & capturing the heart & soul of India 🇮🇳 thank you both for sharing your amazing time & thoughts! 🌼 Who sings “ We all go down to the river “ ? beautiful rendition & end to video , was looking on Spotify !
Absolutely loved this video! I love how respectful you are to the culture and people. It was an incredibly calming and therapeutic watch. PS - Absolutely love your music choices 🫶🏾
Again, thank you so much for a wonderful video! You are both such amazing ambassadors of the world. You spread so much love, and it is so evident watching you.❤
What a lovely video….i feel as if i have been to India myself. Thanks for taking us all along with you. But i am looking forward to having you back in the UK too. Hope Liam is better now. Sending love,Marina xx
A perfect way to finish your trip. Pleased to see you heading over to Varanasi and explaining its meaning and putting it into context of Life (and death). A poignant ending of this chapter. Om namah Shivaya!🙏
Liam, I'm so sorry you felt so unwell but goodness it is a reflection of the strength of your spirit (and your excellent nurse 😊) that you wanted to get back out there and see Varanasi! How refreshing to see a different cultural approach to death and the rituals of the mother river. I also loved Janines patience, despite some awkwardness, with the lovely young man who only spoke Hindi. ❤ He so wanted that moment of connection. Beautifully filmed as usual ❤. Thank you SO SO much for sharing beautiful India with us. Cant wait to see what comes next on your return to the UK...And news of Morgan. Hugs guys XXX
Time flies by when I watch one of your vlogs. It's been such an inspiring journey you've both had...so many ups, downs, twists and turns.. and yet you both just accept where you are on the journey and adjust accordingly!! Just like life in general! It was normally Liam looking after Jeanine when not being well... like on the Camino...and now the other way round... such a strong couple/team! I hope you feel stronger now Liam! I loved seeing the people you both met...they reacted to your positive and friendly auras ✨️✨️ Thanks for taking us along!! I can't wait to see what you both get up to next!! Respect to you both on the commentaries, filming, editing and gorgeous choices of music 🎶 🎵 👌 🙏🕯✨️✨️✨️✨️💛💛💛💛👏👏👏😀🤗😍
Beautiful way to end your trip to the amazing country of India. All the souls in peace. You have had a wonderful experience. God is in his heaven All is right with the world Take care❤
Brilliant thank you 🙏 Me and my husband (from the Midlands, UK) arrived in Chennai on 1 March and are currently travelling in Tamil Nadu. We have Varanasi planned for May so it was super interesting to watch this episode. In fact we’ve loved all your videos and we’re including some of the places you’ve been to as they looked so cool. Happy travels 🙏
Janine this was the most beautiful video you have done. Your editing and production skills are fantastic and you and Liam should be so proud of every single video you have done from India. What a journey.❤❤❤
Wow wow wow, we can't tell you how much we have enjoyed following you on your Indian tour, its been fantastic, thank you so much for sharing this with us. We hope you have a safe journey back to UK, stay safe and well. Xx
Amazing footage again. I want to go to Varanasi to experience the sunrise over the River. I'm so glad Liam is feeling better. You have had a wonderful experience and thank you for taking us with you. The seller who gave you the mantra for free was lovely. He made me cry when he hugged Liam. ❤🙏
Thanks for another amazingly presented chapter of your Indian travels, top class once again. What an incredible culture and people they are, full of love, generosity, and respect for everyone around them. The West could learn so much from them.

It is the best thing you both attended the Arti by the riverside! It is ultimate sacred and highest degree of respect and gratitude offered to mother Ganga 🙏
Watching your video's each week has been educational and interesting but also very personal. Excellent editing. It takes a lot of time i am sure, but so professionally done. I feel i have learnt so much and you are such a lovely couple. Safe travels, looking forward to watching more of your adventures. Take care of each other.
It's been wonderful following your Indian adventures. Somehow you both seemed so "right" there! Maybe the next time might take you into the Himalayas ! Watching from central Portugal every week as an expat 74 year old ... Safe journey back to the UK
I have so enjoyed your trip through India and feel profound respect and admiration for this ancient land. Although I spent quite a bit of time in India, I was in an ashram and so didn't get to see much beyond that. I will miss your adventures here! A shame that Liam got a virus and glad he is better. Om Namah Shivaya
Aww honestly guys I’ve loved every minute of this whole “India” series. You’ve both done such a good job and it’s felt like we’ve travelled along with you. How a TV company hasn’t picked you up yet is beyond me. I remember back in the day, watching an episode of Alan Whicker where he visited the border and always thought I’d love to visit and see it for myself one day. I never made it but thanks to this video, you’ve brought it a bit closer. Thank you
Thank you for another wonderful vid, despite illness. Loved your travels in India, here's to a new chapter when you return to wet and windy UK. Take care and thank you for including us along the way. 🙏🇬🇧🤗
Words fail me, you two are incredibly respectful and the warmth you receive from the lovely locals is a testament to the way you both are and how open they are to tourists. You were always gentle people but i can see a shift in your demeanour towards softness. You must be tired and enriched in equal measures. Thank you for sharing your travels 💚
Thank you so much guys this has been such a brilliant series to watch. What an amazing country and such wonderful, helpful and welcoming people. Hope you are feeling better Liam. Looking forward you your next adventure.
As with all your videos I totally loved this one . I have started little mini travels around the UK with my Jack Russell miller. Our next stop is in June to Northumberland to see seahouses and hadrians wall to name but a few all thanks to your inspiring videos x
Liam has a transforming cleanse in Varanasi and Janine becomes immortal with one cemented footstep. Prediction: New birth ... UK😂 Fantastic. I was wishing thst you would get to the evening arati at the Ganga.
It was a great idea to end your India trip with Varanasi. Varanasi also known as Benares and Kashi, according to our Puranas, is the centre of the Universe and an eternal city. It's also a mind bending city with a huge surge of energy for spiritual folks. Really loved your Bharat Bhraman videos. Wish you all the best for future travels.
Thank you both for showing this part of India. It seems a better reconcile death with great solemn peace. Safe journey to your next destination be that home or wherever. It has been a great watch with the amazing Indian people and places

Same! I've chosen to become a channel member this year to support Those Happy Days, they are way better value than TV entertainment! ❤
@@TheMinimalistTherapist really appreciate the support 🙏

I'm so sad your journey throughout India has come to its end 😢. Have a safe trip home ❤
Thank you 🙏🇮🇳
Thank you, thank you a thousand times.
Safe travels back 🙏
I know, the goat with his button down shirt was random wasn't it!? 😂 Bless him, I wonder why he had it on!?
Well done. ❤ x

Thank you. I enjoyed every minute of your adventures in India. 🙏🏻
The people of India haven't got much but they so friendly.🏴
they have
We've got pride in ourselves for preserving our culture over a 1000 years of foreign invasions and now we're developing as well 🫶
It depends what you class as 'much'.
Indian is not a basket case it has very robust economy,
@@namalum420
I understand there is rich parts of India as well. As poor parts
but I haven't seen any rich parts on their videos
. But my main point is when people haven't got much. They're happy when people have got all sorts. They seem to be not happy. It is exactly the same here in the UK.
Poor people will help you
rich people want money.🇬🇧
a very special episode .i travelled to Varanasi in 2013 and found great comfort there ,a very interesting and spiritual place .
thank you for always giving us such wonderful videos , your photography and editing are just beyond amazing .
Safe travels

Varanasi have given me extra terrestrial feelings and experiences.
I am surely convinced with existence of other dimensions and parallel realities.. in my three times of Being there.
Enjoy the bliss of our tiny momentary specs.

@@nopretribrapture2318Varanasi is one of the holy cities of Hindues. It's my hometown. It said that Varanasi is governed by Lord Kaal Bhairav one of the ferocious Avatar of Lord Shiva. It happens in Night.I slept for few hours but actually I went into years in lots of weird places all looked familiar. You can simply say Hallucinations or Dreams but It is not .. I am fully aware of the place and faces I endured in other bank of Hari chandra Ghat in front of a Burning Corpse. FYI. I was Athiest At my first visit. @@nopretribrapture2318 Not Any More.
I can surely measure the time I spent there. One of best experiences and vivid connection. I thought all it was fake or dream. Until saw glimpse of it the Next time. Third Time i didn't spend any night there. I went to Kanpur then. never got a chance to endure that moment anywhere in my life.

Me and my husband (from the Midlands, UK) arrived in Chennai on 1 March and are currently travelling in Tamil Nadu. We have Varanasi planned for May so it was super interesting to watch this episode. In fact we’ve loved all your videos and we’re including some of the places you’ve been to as they looked so cool. Happy travels 🙏
Do watch some videos of a vlogger named Ellis from the UK, they have visited some amazing places in Tamil Nadu.
Also you can check videos of Marc Travels. He is exploring India on a bike. Surely check his videos especially from Hampi.
Janine this was the most beautiful video you have done. Your editing and production skills are fantastic and you and Liam should be so proud of every single video you have done from India. What a journey.❤❤❤

Thank you
