Amazing video. Absolutely loved it, I like how it was informative and it made sense instead of dumping info to ppl who are ignorant about This. I loved studying this for the MCAT and this video was a perfect REVIEW
That depends on the person. You could begin feeling the effects of it within minutes. If someone is addicted to it, that process and experience slows over time as the body builds a tolerance to it. If someone continues ingesting fentanyl, then the process may be faster. They could also make themselves throw up as the body rejects the concentration.
say nalaxone revives said person who overdosed on opioids and has slow or diminished breathing, Why would the person fail to be revived and resuscitated? When nalaxone blocks the opioid receptors. Would it be because nalaxone was administered too late?
Because if the Brain is deprived of oxygen for too long then you’ll be brain dead or sometimes it makes ur heart stop and naloxone can’t make ur heart start beating again I think...
This is not an opioid overdose. If you’re referring to a person dying to this from an opioid overdose it’s not possible. All opioids do is make your breathing more and more shallow until you fall asleep unknowingly. Because you’re so high. They will not make you bleed.
Fuck juice and the rest of these shitty rappers. They ain't shit. They can't even speak proper English and they have zero musical skills. I hope all of his fans are 14 year old kids cus if any adult listens to that shit something is wrong with them
I cut a morphine tablet intentionally hoping it would be more effective. It released too much into my blood stream and I went into overdose. I administered narcan on myself then started puking over and over and over. The worst body shakes, chills, heart rate. This was 3 hours ago. I almost just fucking killed myself, I probably would have without narcan on hand. Please don't take your medicine other than prescribed by your doctor. I almost just paid the price. It's not worth it I'm telling you.
When your breathing is slowing down do you start becoming unconscious and then when you lungs stop you are dead? Or like your still conscious because when you overdoes there is a sound of a person tryna breath and it’s like a cycle of them doing it but they can’t move or anything?
Your body needs oxygen to convert food into energy, which powers all of your bodily processes and keeps you alive. If you are without oxygen for long enough, you will lose consciousness, and your body will start shutting down a lot of its processes in order to conserve energy. Normally, if you just hold your breath until you pass out, your body will then automatically start breathing again because it's "programmed" that way. But if opiates are deactivating the neurons that tell you to breathe, then your body basically starts powering down in parts, until you are dead. If medics are able to make you start breathing before you're completely gone, then you may have some temporary or permanent brain damage from lack of oxygen when you regain consciousness. So in short, your lungs make sure oxygen keeps coming in, and your heart pumps that oxygen all around your body. Those can both stop working for a little bit, but once all of the oxygen in your body gets converted to energy and used up without more oxygen coming in, then you are dead.
Thats the biggest bs i have ever heard. Most people are getting addicted because they are getting opioid after a broken arm or something like that. We need better control from our doctors, this works better in germany for example.
I wasn't close but if my parents was never here I would had overdosed on melatonin cause it's hard to sleep.... 0_0 Wait *thinks about a overdosed melatonin*

No more addiction.
You may explain what it does but you failed to explain how it kills
Kevin Wilson it said that when they have too much drug in their system that it causes their breathing to slow down which eventually stops
How long take the fentanile to start it's effects in the body, and how long the fentanile starts a overdose once the people ingested the fentanile?

I feel like im about to over dose right now

What happens if they start beeding from the mouth when overdosing on opioids

Cretaceous Steve good answer to a good question.
Certacteous Steve couldn’t we just use anaerobic respiration
Will people die of fentanyl overdosing even if they were given naloxone?
Since I tried since I overdose on my antidepressant I can't stay asleep will this wear off
Go to a doctor right now
Drug addicts ruin it all for chronic pain patients who actually need this medication. Cruel world I guess..
The government can make better medicine they just like to give out poison.
Thats the biggest bs i have ever heard. Most people are getting addicted because they are getting opioid after a broken arm or something like that.
