REMEMBER DESANTIS DID THIS; He called a special session for his republican legislature. brought them all back into session and this is what he gave his stamp of approval on after a 2 week session with his republican legislature. Thank GOD he is not still running for president. He tried to sell this as his way of protecting????? his citizens in his state. Instead he and the republican legislature got in bed with the insurance companies. Got kick backs, got their pockets lined by insurance company lobbyists, made it much harder for Florida property owners to sue the insurance companies for what the insured's should have received. Basically, DeSantis and his legislature got lobby money for screwing over the Florida citizens. Yes, I understand homeowners insurance going up due to storms. But these insurance companies insure all across the country. They're doing the same thing everywhere. There are still major portions of the USA that are not dealing with critical happenings like hurricanes and wild fires. Look at the profits. FOLLOW THE MONEY THEY MAKE HAND OVER FIST. And that was created because these same republicans argued there was no such thing as global warming being sped up by human development and then they allowed insurance companies and oil companies to not being forced to pay for damages so instead regular middle class people were screwed by big money, big corporations, and insurance companies. When you look at insurance company profits, they are getting plenty of money by screwing the people. Welcome to the new reality of republicanism.

Anyone who is complaining about the HOA fees deserves exactly what they got. They were "suckered" from the start. I thought that having no control over "upkeep" maintenance was a bad idea way back over 50 years ago. The clause to raise maintenance costs and tell me how the outside grounds must-be was a "turn off". These condo owners are stuck. Who wants to buy a "home" under those kinds of conditions? The condo market will suffer for a very long time before people's trust returns. Yes, trust will return, people have short memories and "just love a bargain". So, buyers will take a chance when condo prices drop deeply at some point in this business cycle. After one generation (30) years the business people will return the business as usual. Just a thought after reading the comments. So many are condemning the HOA fees and complaining that they should be eliminated. Who in his proper state of mind would want to buy a condo without some kind of controls. Your neighbor could simply let his condo rot and fall down hurting your investment. PS: I think you people are simply so angry about something which you have no control over that you're on TH-cam using it to "vent" your frustrations. Why don't you just buy a condo so you have something to complain about. I also wonder how many of you are even not "gainful employable", that is on some kind of disability. You're not here to give anyone advice, you're here to "purge" your emotions.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGSHOA here in San Francisco are just way too damn expensive esp when u own a condo so I advise anybody not to buy any condo in San Francisco if u do u gonna regret it not only u gonna regret it u gonna go broke
My car insurance has gone up 100% in just three or four years
Avoid buying property with HOA ,or get together ,and kick HOA out
Storm areas the insurer has insolvency its just not worth it, like social security you put in and get nothing out
THIS IS WHAT DE-REGULATION then later CRONY REGULATION that comes back to "fix it." 😂😂
Just think what will be if Democrats get in charge… 🙄
@@UnlockingCentralFloridaawww I see what ya did there….crafty,🇺🇸
@@saythankyou111 Amazing how all of you are blaming the wrong cause to begin with.
This Guy wants Democrat Ideas.
19:38 he says Illegal Immigrants should be Allowed to stay.
He blamed 'Old People' in a hateful tone too.
So he Wants Illegal activity. Well, there's consequences for condoning Illegal Immigrants/Activity.
He can't see this? I'm first generation in USA. Family came Legally. USA Allows The Most Immigrants Legally in the World.
Please don't take this Great Country for granted with Democrat Ideology.
BTW, I've been to many places in Florida. He should be Thankful for the Elderly there. Not Blaming them for Illegal Immigrants taking Advantage of Florida. Hey, it's Your Tax Money given away to Illegal Immigrants. Stolen I should say, but he will say Illegal Immigrants are contributing. He'll just ignore Their Taking from those elderly who Deserve to Retire in Peace.
South Florida is blue, ( democrat mayors and commissioners ) Pay attention to the areas that are expensive but I still want to pay $18 an hour.
@@metal-k9069Florida is Red, a failed state
Yes, that’s what the black community said. ‘Tomorrow it will be you’. And here you are.
I said the same thing. I have no comment on what's happening.
When housing was cheap in FL, insurance was not expensive as repairs from hurricanes was bearable. Now that the real estate costs have doubdle dor tripled in recent years it has driven up repairs costs thru the roof. Thus insurance has skyrocketed
It's not stoppable now it's a snowball rolling down a hill and it's going to get bigger and bigger
Just a like government, HOAs are vunerable to corruption. One of the reasons HOAs were invented was because many municipalities required to set up a HOA, as condition of allowing the developments to be built was to shift the responsibility of maintaining roads and garbage removal from the municipality onto the HOA.😊
Where the hell is DeSANTIS!?
Vote that fool out!
Collecting checks
Snorting coca
the old people follow the law
Yeah they will be legally evicted soon
Great info..What's going on in Florida now.. Crushed my dream of retiring to there. But because of all the inflated prices and hoa BS. I can't. Just too expensive. All happened after covid..The New South East California..😢😢 Sad
This place has taken a nose dive. All the man driving wants is to get attention to be the president. But these dumb people don’t see it
all the Rich people got washed out near the Beach, the poor people were high and dry on the high ground, Florida was wonderful and still is, no Heating bill and house insurance and state income tax for thirty + years, you just have to know the game
HOA fees and taxes are never mentioned in rent comparisons.
Good evening Jose, Hope your doing better and thank you again for wearing your M Go Blue T Shirt ! Have you ever tried Buddy's Pizza in the Mitten ? It's the original Detroit Style Pizza . Take care and God Bless.
😊 need to try
So, what are the Republicans doing in Florida to ruin it?
Assigning blame without understanding anything about it are you?
70% of all claims nationwide or paid to Floridians…..yet the whole country pays the dues…😮🇺🇸
Oh, You mean the Rethuglicans? Where ever there’s greed, money in these situations you’ll find the Rethuglicans! Follow the money, the corrupt politics, corrupt officials, attorneys and you’ll find em.
This is all by design. People do some research. Look up how they manipulate the weather. Are you so nieve to not see WHAT THE HELL is going on!!! Massive tornadoes, hurricanes, mud slides, flooding, Fires. Wake the hell up!! They tornado the rural areas to get the people to move to more populated areas, that's why they wipe the whole town out. It's all about de pop you lay tion, control of who's left to be their slaves. Arguing about sides is what they want. They want us divided because if we stick together they will lose. Don't play into the trap!! Direct your steps to the LORD in prayer! Be Elijah's!! This is a spiritual battle!

Don't live in an HOA!
Thanks for getting the word out!👍
Is that a Subaru XT coupe at 24:52? Damn, haven't seen one of them in 20 years...
Jose, wow, wow, wow, I never knew that! Thank you! For the info!
you may have to rent rooms out.
GOOD JOB!!!!
Saying that HOA dues have or are going to increase all over Florida isn’t entirely accurate. My HOA dues have not increased at all.
Yet..
It’s the condo fees that are increasing. My HOA hasn’t increased in years and I don’t see it increasing anytime soon.
Semantics. Saying “all over” doesn’t every single damn HOA. It’s a general statement about the state.
Y’all love using your own individual experiences as if that represents the majority.
They make it impossible to sell because you have to disclose any Hoa fees and special assessments.I bought a condo 7 years ago. 160.00 next year a new company took over and it went to 360.00. They found termites and needed to tent the buildings. 3,000 . So glad I moved out
Why should you be able to not disclose? Get one over on the buyer?
@@Teacher659bwahahahahaha. Good one.😂😂😂😂
I'm certain things would be different under the Democrats.
No need to report them people to the Attorney General office and file complaints that y’all need to get a class accent suit and send it to file it with the Attorney General office of the state of Florida
Buckle up Florida it’s supposed to be really active hurricane season this will absolutely bankrupt the state & homeowners! This will be crazy 2024 hurricane season!!
😅😅😅 the legal battle? Who appoints the judges and pays for races as a ton of LLCs which are one person. CITIZENS UNITED, thanks supreme court 2007.
You can thank Judge Clarence Thomas for that.Karma!
Expecting to pay for something of value is so yesterday thinking. Hoa members have expenses too. I left a nyc coop board 40 years ago due to the deep hole previous grifter and incompetent boards left seeing endless increases in fees for years to come
Yes we know already about this subject. 😂🎉😂🎉
Very interesting and thought provoking. Lawyers doing that is not one bit surprising but not something I knew about. I grew up poor in the Midwest and had to live in the less desirable neighborhoods and towns. When I lived in fort Myers a few years ago, I was told to stay away from Lehigh acres. People there didn’t have a problem with the help coming from Lehigh to work in their gated communities though. They complained about trumps wall but lived in a gated community. Hypocrisy at its finest.
You are making me hungry with the food
The only people I know who live in Florida are Rich or crazy.
Or poor.
