I have 2 of these 315 speakes and adding a ts315s sub and it just blows everyone away. Got a wedding of 100 ppl and it rocked. Planning to get one more sub and two more tops for additional setup
I ordered two and a 12” sub. Can’t wait to test them out. Might be over kill. Only bought them to stream music at family parties lol.

Awesome test. Especially the part where you try to move far away from it to see how it sounds further away. Might have tested also how the sound changes when you have it on mid height or standing on the ground as well. Not that it would be any good but for example a lot of street artists have them sitting on the ground which IMO supports the bass a bit more. But that is just my observation from hearing various speakers in various heights :)

Well to be honest i think the altos have a great balance between highs and lows. The mackies on the other hand i feel like they have too much bass not enough highs. I still do recommend both

I have a setup of 2 alto ts315 for tops and 2 ts218s for subs which i use for bands of rock and spanish music and they deliver! They arent the super loudest compared to other brand sizes and whatnot but what they can put out is clear and thats what matters imo. One of the songs i tested my whole system when i bought it was the last song he played in the video and i can say that with subs it packs a punch!

I have 2 of these altos in 15 inch and getting the harberger 12 inch subwoffer. It is for small kind of like this back yard. Do you think it will be enough for bass sound. It is a sierreno type so again mostly backyards like this. I do not want a big heavy sub it is too heavy
I think you should go for at least a 15 inch sub as the altos have a lot of highs and a 12 inch sub i feel like wont be enough bass
@@DJPhynxEntertainment I when with the 12 sub harbinger. I have 2 of them , I test it out in backyard party and it sounds just great. I only put it at half way and the bass was just incredible 👌

I used alto as a monitors but if I can do that fuck my kw 153 don’t need daily chiropractor adjustments from carrying heavy speakers but I suggest getting alto sub it’s 100 percent great

would 2 of these work for hooking up to a TV for Movies? Would I need a Mixer to hook up to the TV? Looking for High Volume Quality Speakers. These sound Great. There on Sale for $279.99 at Guitar Center.
Well to be honest im not sure how they would do with movies as these are dj speakers but i dont see why they wouldnt sound loud and good and yes id recomend getting a mixer with these too

Yes actually before i bought the alto i previewed both at guitar center. The reason i went with the alto is because the mackie had too much bass and was lacking the highs for me. The alto has better sound with a good balance between bass and highs and the alto does have good bass too. Id recommend the alto as it has more headroom with 1000 watts rms and good balance between highs mids and lows.
I was afraid to buy the alto because i read people saying that the tweeter goes out on these but i have to say i have played these altos with loud loud volume for 8 hrs at several events and never had a problem. So dont be afraid they are more then worth the money!

@@the61919 no problem man! Yes i definately recomend these i also have a friend that has these and he really pushes his speakers and also has had no problems with the tweeters at all
@@DJPhynxEntertainment Get them they solved the tweeter going out and the amp over heating I’ve did several gigs with the Alto Ts312’s and I banged then for 6-7 hours without overheating or distortion not even at 12 O’clock these bad boys got thump and clarity.

Yea man its really a good quality mixer expensive but worth the money. Well for tops i actually have a passive system but thats usually for big events. For small to medium events i highly recomend the alto ts315. They have plenty of headroom and get pretty loud plus there $300-$350 each. Id also recomend the mackie thumps there pretty good for the money.
when running one of these speakers only...... is it better to have two xlr cables connected to each input.......... so u get stereo from the speaker or is one xrl enough ?

Yes man they definately have good bass but if you can id say invest in one good sub

You can buy an alto bluetooth total or an aux to 1/4 inch cable but id definately buy alto bluetooth total

You mean use the altos as a main speaker and have passive monitor speakers?
@@DJPhynxEntertainment yes. I want to have a set of 2 Altos at the side of my band and have 2 monitors speakers on the floor but how do I connect them to this Altos and will the Altos give power enough to make then loud or I have to get some power monitor speakers
@@SuAmigoElilegal okay well first things first you need an amp to power those passive monitor speakers. Next if you have an amp for those passive monitors then you can connect them two ways.
1. If you have a mixer with monitor outputs then you connect your passive monitors through there with xlr cable to your amp and your able to control the volume separatey from your main speakers.
2. You can connect your passive speakers through the altos output xlr to your amp powering your passive speakers. Keep in mind this way your not able to actually control your monitor speakers volume separately as there connected with your main speakers.
I recommend connecting your passive speakers through option 1
What kind of mixer are you using?
Ok so I have 2 Altos 15 power speakers plug in to stereo left and right on my yamaha mixer . I have another 12 inch power alto speaker . Question is how do I connect the 12 inch , to the mixer or to one of the speakers because I want to use it as a monitor speaker

Creo que ahorita estan en venta ha $299 cada una en la pagina de guitar center y la verdad si las recomiendo mucho son muy potentes que aguantan mucho volumen y se escuchan muy bien la verdad y con dos vas hacer mucho ruido tienen buen bajeo tambien y no se destorcionan pa nada...si las compras usadas numas asegurate que sirva todo bien porque me ha pasado que compre unos bajos usados y salieron rompidos y en tu ejemplo por $200 mas mejor las nuevas pero esta en ti
con este solo parlante ts315 tranquilamente puedes poner musica en un evento para 100 personas!!

Thats not true at least from my experience it hasnt happened and i have used them for plenty of gigs and used them into limit and the tweeter is perfectly fine

I have some cars subs in a box, can those be somehow incorporated? I can't find a cable for the subs cable to an xlr but don't know how to control the subs either
No those are two different types of subs. You can make it work easily but they wont perform like actualy dj subs. See subs for a car are meant for closed environment small environment. Dj subs are meant for open environment longer throw of the bass. It wouldnt end up sounding good

I definately understand man! I recommend you you just use the tops til u can get your hands on some dj subs. Search for some on facebook marketplace you can get urself a decent pair of subs but just be careful when u buy some make sure they work good listen to them begore buying.

Hey bro, would you suggest getting a 5 year warranty for an extra 100 dollars when buying one of these? I take really good care of my equipment so I'm debating on getting it or not.
I actually did purchase the warranty as well with guitar center. Id say its worth buying the warranty for it. It gives u peace of mind when using them and even if you do take care of your equipment something can always happen its better to be safe.

I have the QSC k12.2 and they sound very loud and even if I connect a mixer with the QSC they won’t clip at all. I have heard the alto and they are clear but not as clear as the QSC and the QSC throws a little more punch but for the price the alto is a good choice.
