I was so excited to see this. Back when I was dating my husband, who was back then my boyfriend, he had told me that a customer of his dad's auto shop was Rock Hudson. When I came across this, I knew I had to find out if the shop was in the roladex. And it was! VIP Tire & Automotive, was on there with my now father in law, Claude's name listed! Now here it is over 35 years and the shop is now my husband's. My father in law said that Mr. Hudson was the kindest person ever and was devastated when he passed. John Warner was Elizabeth Taylor's sixth/seventh husband (from 1976-1982). He was a U.S. Senator for Virginia and former U.S. Secretary of the Navy. It was during that marriage that Elizabeth became unhappy with being a politician's wife, especially in D.C., so she became overweight and increasingly addicted to alcohol and prescription drugs.
Jerry Lanning is an actor who played older Patrick in the original production of MAME on Broadway. He was also Gwen Verdon's lover after she left Bob Fosse.

John Warner might have been the Senator from Virginia, Married to Elizabeth (did not call her Liz) Taylor. Atoka Farm - The property located between Middleburg and Upperville once was owned by former Virginia Senator John Warner, where he married the late actress Elizabeth Taylor in December, 1976. - Great video by the way.
That’s what I was thinking. He and Liz were campaigning in my county in Big Stone Gap Virginia when she choked on that chicken bone. She made a lot of campaign appearances for Warner.
I kept looking for Lee Majors, whose real name is Harvey Lee Yeary. He’s from my area. He was a college football player when Rock met him and helped him get into acting. He was a real mentor to him and the are photos online of Rock visiting with the Yeary family in Middlesboro Kentucky. Apparently there was a falling out and neither would ever talk about the other to anyone.
