Your videos are so full of great information. I love how you share the good and the bad outcomes and plans. Your days are incredibly busy. Keep up the good work and my goal is to get through all your videos. You have motivated me to expand my hydroponic systems.
@@HomegrownPassion it is very cool.... I love the efficiency... we use aeroponic tables we built for cloning and germination and can pack tons of plants and seeds in them. If I ever learn to use TH-cam properly I'll send ya some pics, our germination rate went from 60% to 99% with the aeroponic cloners... oh and the cleanlight is AWESOME. Just got the hobby unit and am thoroughly impressed! Goodbye sulfur !! I gotta get in there and get to it! Thanks for everything!
Hi Devon and Kati! We did our first tank change yesterday. Started harvesting the kale, it's so good. I'm going to start succession plants here soon since the lettuces will be harvested here in a couple of weeks! I noticed your peach tree was in bloom! The same is happening here we must have similar zones. I'm interested in seeing the asparagus patch in future videos. Take care!
Good and hope it went well! We are due for one soon. Glad to hear about the kale. It really takes off in the summer for us and bet it will for you too. My one peach tree has a ton of flowers this year. I’m hoping we don’t have a late season frost. Have a wonderful week!
Nice video devon thanks for sharing..i,ve spent the week leveling the area for my cattle panel hoop house 12x32 feet and a small greenhouse 10x14 feet and now i,am working on filling in a spot for a 24x65 greenhouse if i deside to go that big..it,ll be hooked to the 10x14 greenhouse.
Wow that's awesome and you are going to have a pretty big set up! I'm still thinking about a small greenhouse at my house, but just found out that some of the materials are 6 or more month out. Hope you have a nice weekend!
Ya getting what you need is tough right now..it,s a crap shoot.. it,s nice out today so i,am going to move more dirt..i,am filling in for the big greenhouse now..you have a great weekend too devon. It made me smile when i saw the video of your boys helping grandma plant channels...their all making memorys which is what life is about.
Hey love the TEal Color themed but also consider building a treehouse over just a house that tears down the forest. Trees should be building blocks no tearing blocks. It can be funky and swirlyio just needs a bit of adjusting imagination and blueprinting and there we go and inventive you might get more followers because your not just helping humanity but your helping the World. We are not only making channels grow but It inspire others to experiment and TH-cam Channels will grow when we choose to help the world 2 ways in one stone. Building a tree house and putting gardens in it. It can maybe make new species
Hi Devon. I don’t know if you made a video about this, because I didn’t get see all of your videos yet, but I would like if possible that you to post a video about composting . Thanks!
Homegrown Passion hi 9:11 the roots do not have to be thrown out, if you have a lot, then sell it to home animals the same chickens, or to your. and if you put air humidifiers (such as Xiaomi Deerma DEM-F325), then everything will grow like dough by trembling
Another great video. In the channels with crops requiring an increased nutrient/water uptake, where supplemental emitters are being used, would it not be advantageous to use 'Nutrient Film' to help maintain nutrient solution saturation and retention within the channel, is there too much root entanglement with the film or some other reason it is not used? Cheers.
I just searched CropKing's website, but couldn't find any. I believe they may be sold out, but there are other places to get them. I will ask Katy. They are very nice and sturdy.
I suggest to start small and see what you enjoy growing. Lots of people start with Kratky method and there are many videos on TH-cam showing it. Thank you!
Im a new subscriber: couple questions. why the Dutch Bucket system, do those types grow better in it or what .... are the clips reusable . enjoying your family's journey.
Hi thank you! The clips are reusable and we use the Dutch buckets for the vine crops because they have a large root system and grow for a long period of time.
It is easy to start hydroponics small scale. Many people enjoy growing with the Kratky method in their homes. I believe there are many videos on TH-cam about it, and I may do one eventually as well.

Devon, who makes those white rail mounted buckets (the strawberry buckets in the video) and what are they called (Model/name)? Those are neat!
